this thread has derailed to a riding gear topic. daamn..

I wish i was in the USA to ride do street runs with u guys. Cant wait to see more videos of u guys..

PS : I did a 340kmh run at freeway with an Fulll Face, tshirt ,jeans and sneakers. why, is all about comfort. If it comes to crash, God Forbid, the result will be the same with or without gear at those speeds. and apart from the WOT, im riding at 100-120kmh.

ND there is a huge difference with good gear or none
i crashed at between 300 and 320 kph 5 weeks ago , broke my thumb and wore a glove through, and got some pretty good bruises , stood up and walked away
Its all about the gear ...

Really glad you are ok Oz. We all need ya safe and healthy sir. A really close friend called me last night to tell me they had a bad crash on a small group ride the other day. Out of respect for the family I am going to keep the personal details to a minimum and only post 1 of the pics he sent me. They left out after lunch and 1 of the front 2 riders clipped a guardrail due to a slick spot in the road. No ones fault. Rider is non-responsive and not expected to recover. He was wearing a Bilt $120.00 sale helmet. Crash occured at relatively normal speeds according to witnesses. Would the result have been different with a top shelf lid? I dont know. But after hearing the pain and conflict in my friends voice, I would pay any freaking sum to find out. I ride hard at the track and occasionally on the street when conditions permit, I do push. But I take zero chances with my gear. I get the best quality and protection level. Period. I wear it even when its hot. And especially when its cold. I wish ill will to no man. I would love to see all the fast guys live long and get all the adrenaline dump they can. I will boost right along with ya. But for the love of Pete, please, wear the gear. Always.

Bill Warner we are told lost a tire , but results of any investigation are not published
Huge loss to his family and the LSR community , and a very interesting guy to talk with
I heard Bill locked up his front tire while braking to slow down, due to a crappy road surface.

Good old internet .... full of misinformation!

He lived only 20 minutes from me .... great loss :(
