Looking for a 15'/16' H2 in the US. I live in NY so the closer the better but I am willing to travel any distance for the right deal. Cash in hand so please price accordingly. If I wanted to overpay I would just go to my local dealer and get their leftover 16's for 21.5

Oh wow, welcome to the board. At least you are straightforward.

NOLA.
Thanks! I'm on a few of the other Kawi forums but figured I'd make a post on here in case some owners are considering selling.

Lol what can I say, I know what I want.

Brand new 16 H2 for $21.5? I'd grab it, not going to do better, probably not even close. I live in Long Island too, that would be a great deal especially for our area.

Never seen or heard of a new 2016 H2 going for $21.5 Maybe before they pound you with "stealer fee's" If you can get one for that price, grab it and run!

I got my brand new 2016 from Cali marked at 19 ended up paying 22 out the door. I doubt you will find that deal up north unless its a used bike. Good luck and hope you find one in your price range

They're left over 16's. Not selling too good in mine and STRADALE's area. I guess the lowered the price to incite buyers.

2 dealers on L.I have them listed for 21.2 and 21.4, that's before tax and dealer fee's of course.

Never scared huh?..Wait til you ride the H2!
Good luck with acquiring one..
Jeffro ;)
Never lol. Ask STRADALE about how shitty our highways are on the island. I top my zx14r every time I take it out. I've gps'd 204 which is basically retarded if you've seen our roads.

If I could find a brand new 16' for 19k I'd buy it on the spot. Idc about the tax and fees. It'll be worth it. That's why I'm looking at used first to avoid the tax.

Either way great prices. Here in Australia I paid the equivalent of 24.5K US. And that is was a GREAT deal here as in Australia we always pay premium prices (although ours are the Euro version).
Hope you find what your looking for, here the 16 model didn't seem to sell so well for some reason, but end the day I think with the updates the 16 has your better off rather than the older one, and for resale too of course.
Good luck
Jeffro ;)

There's some right time/right places on Long Island where you can top out the H2 but impossible every time I take the bike out. There is an airfield that I use on Long Island for mile runs but I'm not there all the time. The highways/parkways are actually in pretty decent shape for an area w/ the weather we have.

What dealerships are selling them for that cause I'd be really surprised. Limited # of Kawi dealerships on Long Island so you wouldn't be giving out any secrets. Was it $21.5, $21.4 or $21.2?

Asked friend of mine, the manager of the largest volume Long Island Kawi dealership (& they've sold more H2's than any other dealership on the East Coast) if he had a new 16 H2 or knew of a brand new 2016 H2 selling for $21.2k or $21.4 at a Long Island Kawi dealer. He just texted me back : "Sounds like BS to me. Unless of course they were charging $4k for freight & prep, I'd take both of them at that price, LoL!"

I've seen used 16 H2's sell for more than that so like I said if it's actually true, grab it, you won't do better.

Crossbay Motorsports in bayshore has it for 21,199. Prospect powersports in brooklyn has two of them at 21,500 and 21,599. Although, they bumped the prices because last week prospect had them a 21.2 and 21.4

I'd go for it. The 2017's msrp approx. $28k & w/ the updates suspension, ecu, etc I don't see 17's priced that low new ever. So once those new 16's get sold & they will get sold soon w/ that price & especially w/ the nice weather finally around the corner, it'll be hard to locate one for that price plus they're actually local to where you live, telling you wouldn't wait for a better deal to pull the trigger.

For my 2015 there were zero bikes available within a 400 mile radius of where we live, traveled to West Virginia in order to get one, if there was one local & w/ that discount I would have grabbed it in a heartbeat.

I see that the back rim on the fleebay bike is starting to turn gold from the exhaust. I have to hit mine up every few rides so mine doesn't turn.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Mine did the same thing from the short exhaust. Didn't come off w/ a wash, thought it might stay like that but wiped off easily w/ simichrome.

This might be right up your alley - 1200 mile 2016 on eBay & the H2 must have mods (derestriction via guhl/Brocks Stage II ecu reflash, PCV) already taken care of:

2016 Kawasaki Ninja | eBay

Item : 322466256290
Thanks for the heads up.

A guy upstate is selling his 15' h2 with 6k miles for 19k. If he had a little wiggle room I would have bought it but he didn't want to budge at all.

I'll give my hunt another month or two before I end up getting one of those leftovers at the dealer. I guess it makes sense to pay 21+tax for a 16' with no miles than a 15' with thousands on the clock.

If you haven't seen a 2015 in person or heard what H2's sound like w/ a proper full exhaust, PM me & maybe we can meet up. To me eyes the 15 is perfection, the paint, frame, graphics. The OG.

I am going to this event tomorrow in Hauppauge, will probably take one of the Harleys since it's a police escorted run where you're just cruising but if you want to go I'll take the H2

I've only seen 16s in person, never a 2015. Ideally, I'd like a 15' but for what people want for them used with thousands of hard miles on them I'd rather fork up the extra couple grand and get a new one. Used 15s and 16s are basically going for the same price even though the mileage vary.

Supposed to be going to a car meet in Massapequa tomorrow if it doesn't get shut down by nassau pd. I'll pm you so we can exchange numbers, we can meet at an event one of these days. Idk where you are from on the island but I'm in Hampton Bays.
