Just put a deposit on a 2016 H2 today, will be paying off and picking up within a month.

Currently riding a 2014 CBR 1000 and a 2007 Vstar 1300. Wife rides a 2015 Ninja 650 and a 2007 Shadow 750. We also have a 2006 Shadow 750 and a 2007 Vstar 1100 that we are selling to make room for another bike for me.

I have a number of bikes.

Today I am riding my H2 (Brock Performance stage 2 installed) at the Colorado mile. I am having problems and hope to get some advice.

The Brock kit includes an ECU flashed by mr. Gould in Pittsburgh. Among other things, he supposedly deactivated the 300 kph speed governor.

My bike is acting like the governor is still in place. I hit 189 indicated by about 5/8 mile and then quit accelerating. I cruise the last 3/8 mile at a steady 189. I have a stack of time slips reading 185.

I could do that with a stock bike. This bike pulled 230 at the wheel on a dyno located at 5800'.

I have one more day to ride at the mile. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

A few answers....

1. Welcome to the board.
2. You will get better responses if you had posted this in the right place.
3. It sounds like you already know what your problem is. ECU not flashed right.

Picked up my 2016 H2 today. All paid for and mine :)

Tank pad put on already. Fender eliminator next. Planning on some Brocks soon, but not quite yet. Drove it home in horrible traffic, so not much fun play time on it yet. Saturday :)

Rather late to reply, especially considering when I joined, but I've got some classic Hondas (1979 CG125 with 75 miles on the clock, 1980 CD200 Benly with 9k and used as a commuter, 1976 CB400 Four with 25k) plus a couple of classic airhead BMWs from the 1970s, plus a modern Street Triple and a Yamaha XT660 Ténéré. Eclectic.

My current bike is an '04 Triumph Sprint ST that I bought to replace the '01 Sprint ST that I totaled on the way home from watching the AMA (remember them) races at Fontana, CA in April '04. My motorcycle odyssey began with trail bikes through motocross bikes and then street bikes. The chronological list IIRC is '67 Bultaco 125 Lobito, '55 Triumph T110 (rolling chassis and 3 boxes of parts configured for dirt riding), '69 Bultaco Montadero, '71 Sachs MX, '73 Bultaco 125 Pursang, '72 Norton Commando S, '86 Suzuki GSX-R 750, '96 Triumph Sprint, '01 Triumph Sprint ST, '96 (?) Yamaha 250 TZ, '04 Triumph Sprint ST, and '06 Triumph 675 Daytona. Now waiting for the '18 H2 SX SE. Am I too old for this new bike? I don't think so, and I will find out. Cheers!

Lurking here. Finalists are the H2 SX or KTM Super Duke GT to replace my S1000R. I may have a deal made on the KTM but my dealer sold the last one he had the day before I went to make a deal. We made a deal and now he's trying to get me one. The dealer is also a Kawasaki dealer hand has some unsold H2 SXs coming in soon.
