When my 2019 carbon arrived, it was a surprise. Dealer had no clue it was on the way. Got it mid/late March.

Not a carbon, but the base H2. Im told I am #7 (1st batch) and mine will arrive in March. I ordered on 11/11/20.
Yea, curious on how you got that info on what number you are.
I ordered mine Oct 4th 2020 just got an email stating shipments start March 2021. This wait is real!

HOW did you get the info ?
I read an article about Kawi being behind due to COVID. The article even mentioned the H2. So, I contacted my sales guy and told him I wanted info on the delay because I wasn’t going to wait a single day out of April (originally they said March/April). I was already starting to look at other bikes. My sales guy promptly called his rep and got the information.

I read an article as well with delays but then my dealership told me everything is still on track. I just want the bike to be here already. I hate waiting!

yeah... the wait is ridiculous. Other companies will be getting their 2022 models when ours arrive. I guess that is the price of exclusivity. I know I will love it when I get it, but I would have bought five different bikes by now had I not committed to this one.

Hi everyone,
It will be worth the wait buddy. I purchased the 2020 and just love it!, I read on line that kawasaki are stopping the manufacture of the H2 this year due to emmission regulations. Anyone know any different?
Stay safe

So today I either made the smartest decision I've made in a long time or one of the dumbest ever... At 56 years old 👨‍🦳 this absolutely reeks of a mid-life crisis! 😖

I put a $500 deposit down on a 2021 H2 Carbon. After scouring the internet and calling dealer after dealer I think I MAY have found one. According to the dealer they sold a H2 Carbon several months ago and immediately ordered a new one. I've heard numerous things from numerous dealers with regard to availability/purchasing an H2.

1) Each bike is built to order and the order period ended November 30, 2020 for the 2021 bikes, therefore you cannot get one until 2022.
2) Kawasaki will not be producing H2's for 2022.
3) Dealers had to provide a buyers name in order to place an order for an H2.
4) Some dealers have skirted that issue through various ways and that's how I am able to buy a H2 Carbon now.
5) "My" bike had already been ordered and is scheduled to arrive at the dealer in March or April (I'm not counting on that).

I'm not completely convinced that I'll actually see this bike, it was worth $500 to try and it didn't appear that, after extensive research, I had any other options. The dealer is a big dealer so I'm hoping he's just not trying to string me along. I told the dealer that if I didn't receive the bike by the end of May that I would have the option to receive my deposit back, he agreed and said it would be no problem. I figure if I come to my senses and decide it's more than I need I can probably sell it pretty easily. If anyone has any thoughts, suggestions, comments, old age jabs just let me know. Except for the old age jabs!

The countdown begins......

Nothing wrong with mid life crisis , I seem to have done it about a dozen times, I bought my H2 from someone else who had a midlife crisis, but he seemed to have overestimated his own abilities hence the reason I picked up mine with less than 200km with all the work done already, they are a bit uncomfortable but I just go for a two hour blast then clean it and put it back in the office until the next weekend

My dealer called me and told me that the h2 and h2 carbon are still set to be delivered on time. Shipping starts March. The h2r is going to have a delay they said.
