In Kawasaki I trust,,,This should be an opening greeting or sign off, to all fellow Kawasaki enthusiasts. Look at the love (motorcycles) they have given us and lets dare not to question. I am so biased don’t even go there.

They are clearly happy enough with this new product. Confident enough not to let the press have a go. They are not going to upset their most loyal customers or their own reputation. I know this because they know what they are doing.

I think garth285 has the right idea. Building a forced induction 250 / 300 / 350. Smaller capacity but with super’s not turbo’s. To quote John Lennon, “ It will be just like starting over.”

I don’t see the other manufacturers being able to compete with KHI’s Boldness in this new direction.

The building of the H2R clearly proves the reliable tune ability of the whole supercharging phenomenon that is Kawasaki.

In their day….Original H2, AWESOME….Z1, FASTEST…GPZ, TOP GUN….ZZR1100, MISSILE…ZX12R, ALIEN SPACESHIP…..ZX14, INTERGALLACTIC BATTLESHIP….

Did you here the one about the Wide Mouthed Frog ?

So a Wide Mouthed Frog is hopping along one day and comes across a grasshopper. The grasshopper says, “ Hello, I’m a grasshopper and I eat flies.”

(At this point insert a finger from each hand into your mouth and pull your cheeks apart. )

“Hello, I’m a Wide Mouthed Frog and I eat grasshoppers.” GULP.

So the Wide Mouthed Frog carries on hopping along and bumps into a python. The python says, “Hello I’m a python and I Wide Mouthed Frogs.”

(Push both cheeks together with both hands)

The Wide Mouthed Frog says, “ You don’t see many of those do you?”

I PREDICT PRODUCTON WILL NOT CONTINUE INTO 2016.
A year production run with 365 H2R’s and 1460 H2‘s ( 4 a day for a year )
This is a production bike so all parts will be available to rebuild a write off. Extra H2r’s will slip through but us mere mortals are going to struggle to even see one of those in action.
I hope we get invited to spain because to quote Samuel L Jackson. “ I’m going mother^%$£er, that’s all there is to it, I’m %$£^ing going.” IKIT Rod

Your on! :D

Where you at in Europe? I'll be flying to France and out of the UK in June sometime.
New Forest. Search Beaulieu National motor museum. I don't live there (Lord Montague does), but its close and will give you an idea. My home and heart are open to H2 owners. There won't be too many of us. In Kawasaki I Trust, Rod

You think Lord Montague will let us take some of his toys for a ride if we let him ride the H2? >:D

Dyno Graph looks pretty darn good!

To start with I too like many was hoping to see dyno numbers just North of 200 HP. In reality it is since the dyno is showing RWHP, at the crank is definitely North of 200 HP.

With that said, looking at the graph I like what I see. I like the linear HP and TQ curves, but in particular what sticks out is the TQ number at 11K rpm. If I'm looking at it correctly it's putting down 93 lb. ft. which is pretty strong. And as others have pointed out since the curve drops off sharply at just under 11K rpm then that means once the restrictions are overcome that this bike will truly rip.

I'm quite happy with what I see and the potential for more. The H2 already has quite a bit more HP and TQ than the 10R and in a lot more streetable package. Plus if you think about it KHI delivered a bike that puts out true superbike performance in terms of power. I did go on Akropvic's web site and looked at their dyno numbers for the S1000RR and the 10R and the H2 still puts out a decent amount more HP and TQ than those two bikes.

10r
179.3 hp 437 (weight) / 179.3=2.44 lb per hp
77 tq 437/77=5.68 lbs, per ft-lb of tq

Akrapovi?
^link
H2
195 hp 525 (weight) / 195=2.69 lb per hp
92.9 to 525 / 92.9= 5.65 lbs, per ft-lb of tq

So stock for stock.hp to weight you can see the comparisons. Now of course you can lighten up the h2 but you can lighten the 10r as well.. Comparing hp numbers on paper without considering weight is apples and oranges. I feel that if your justifying your purchases by saying the h2 has more power than a normally aspirated 1000 race bike in a totally different class of bikes than Idk what to say.....
10r, s1000rr is a superbike while h2 is a hyper bike and a sc 'd one at that!! Very different animals

Like I said I looked at the site and I looked at the numbers, did I not say that?

I'm not trying to justify anything I'm pointing out facts. I figured it out upon it's release, KHI did not build the H2 to compete with the S1000RR or the 10R. As you state they tag it as a "Hyperbike", a bike with superbike power and more adept for street use. My intent was to point out that the bike is putting out superbike levels of power (power rating being a point of contention around here lately). It does however make more power than those bikes (and that is all I pointed out) and it will be a better "street bike" because that was KHI intent. I looked at the numbers I stated that in my comment above so I am aware the difference in weight, but I 'm not comparing just pointing out the H2 does make more HP and TQ across the board and very linear and usable at that.

Did you not purchase an H2?
I happen to have owned and tracked a 2011 10R for three years so it is obvious to me that the H2 is a different class of bike, I purchased this bike because it is a "Hyperbike" made for the street and at this point in my life I would rather own something for the street with the ergos and power delivery of the H2. The H2 is going to be a much better street bike than the 10R based on the power and how it will be delivered and the ergos. I'm not into my bike is faster than yours, I purchased the H2 for the experience.

Quit reading something into it, I wrote what I wrote and it is what is.

Shouldn't those last few posts have been in the Dyno section?

About a mile from me is sammy miller motorcycle museum....

I saw him last year riding rossi's gp bike ,,,he's 80 years old !

You are right Scott,,, its about the experience. That angry mechanical whirling sound kwakers make (gear clusters wanting to break free from the strain )then the beautiful song of the lark that is the BOV. And this sonic delight is happening when all your back tyre wants is to explode under the load.

Right .....back to point,,,,HOW BLOODY MANY ARE GOING TO BE MADE?

Yeah ok you don't care about having the fastest bike lololol for the experience lolol oh man you are too much. Where's the fzr 600 or the Honda grom or even a zx6r or hey maybe even another liter bike but you buy the biggest hyped bike that's supposedly the fastest ever and you are spending 25k an amount that can buy 2 top of the line bikes for.... Ok wait for it.... The experience, your couldn't care less about having the fastest bike riiiiiiight I am starting to think h2r is the only truthful one here.... I mean there has only been a thousand pages of threads discussing yeah you guessed it's hp so silly me for thinking it was important....

But don't read too much into this comment I wrote what I wrote
My H2 will be or is (It might already be produced, in fact could have been built today for all i know) slower than my current 15 year old kwacker. I understand and believe you Scott.

Yep, right got off subject. Hard to say how many will be made but I don't think there will be that many in any country. It will be an item seeing as how it is the first run even if they produce them again and release them later on. I think we are all starting to fill the effects of winter and I for one can't wait to first just look over the whole bike from bottom to top and back again. Then, take for a nice long ride to break it in and become familiar with it. After break in, well, that's a whole other post.

How does it taste to eat your own words? ;)

Back on topic. Now that it has been several years. Has anything official been released on how many were actually produced?
