Hi all,

I have been a member for sometime but I don't currently own an H2. I had a ZX14R for 2.5 years which I sold this year in preparation for the Beast. I have been reading and getting information on the various H2 models on this forum and needless to say, I have learned a lot. I was divided between an SX or a full blown H2 and just when I had made up my mind on an H2, Kawi updates the SX.

So I am wondering if anyone here has information/opinion on whether Kawi plans on updating the H2 as well. If I'm gonna shell out $35K, I might as well get the latest and greatest next year. Also, I am still wondering about the differences between the 2019 model vs the prior models. Other than LCD and brakes, is there anything else. Did Kawi bluff about the HP increase? Any and all opinions are welcome guys.

Definitely the H2! If you're going to do it, do it right the first time! I had a ZX14 as well. Called it the Busa slayer. Bought an H2, and now I have no doubt I'm probably the fastest bike at every meet I go to.

I bought a 2021 H2 Carbon. I had it dynoed when it was stock and it had 197 hp at the rear wheel. Go for the H2, it's unlike anything you've ever ridden. It's truly a remarkable piece of engineering excellance.

All depends I purchased 2021 SESX+ ....installed full Brocks Penta Carbon, blank off plates, latest greatest Sprint filter, had ECU flash with fuel tune....those mods boosted my Hp to 221, and I know there are much more aggresive ECU flashes where Brock on YouTube squeezed 260hp out of this bike... I sat on the H2 loved it, but I'm little older these days 56 so went for comfort ...I have zero regrets this Bike as it sits is plenty fast after mods....haven't came across any stock H2's but would like to see how close it would be....as mine sits I'm 30k into it....best bike I've ever owned...owned a 2000 ZX12r, currently have a 2003 ZX7R sitting in my garage as well...Cheers

My 10c

I've got a 2015 H2, bought new as left over stock in 2017.
Only got 20K kms (12,400 miles) as unable to ride most of 2021 due to illness, but have last couple of weeks.

This is the best bike I've owned, still got my A1 zx12r too. Had owned a 2008 zx14 previously. Riding the H2 is like a new experience each time. I have modded mine a little - H2R cams, TT3 exhaust, Extreme Creations Intercooler, TurboSmart Blow Off Valve, tuning on road/track and dyno by Woolich. Dyno result on what the Woolich tuner said is a "low" reading dyno was 262 HP. But it is tuned so I can ride it through town etc. without any problems. On track once it winds up it's like having the hand of God shove you in the back when clicking into 6th gear at the end of the straight - that woke me up!

Comfort wise, I have added the Kwaka oem Ergobars - makes just a slight but noticeable difference in comfort. The seat is okay and I usually ride about 180 - 200kms each time I'm out. I'm about 6'2".

Obviously you don't have to do mod like I have, because even stock with a decent exhaust, it is an amazing bike. As far as going the SE/SX route, that would be up to you and your needs. Canmaninusa has given a good description of his thought processes on why he went that route.

Good luck with which ever one you buy.

Don.

Look i have been confused on buying between them for a while
But now in 2022
U have 2 options __ 1 st POWER FAME DREAM BEAST
other option ___ 2nd Electronics RADAR less aggressive FI,supercharger LESS POWER {passenger seat}

look if have hunger for power then buy h2
but keep in mind 1. no passenger seat
2. no comfortable rides above 1-2 hrs (racing bent posture _ more weight on shoulder )
3. more refueling stops
4. not recommended for track use !! literally one of the worst competers in race prettty bad on cornering
5. Best for straight line and sound only
6. nothing more U OWN A BEAST !!!!!!!!!!!!!
****Also Rumors show something comforting for co passengers :
Flash photography Gesture Happy Travel Landscape

2nd : Ninja H2 SX SE + 2022 model
nice comfortable bike
pros : 1. comfortable posture (long tireless hours of fast riding)
2 . less refuelling stops
3. both space for copassenger / luggage (on both sides )
*** below are new features in 2022 model not experienced till now by public
4 . LARGER touch screen 5. super dvanced electronics
6. RADAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (can u believe it ?????)

cons : 1. LESS AGRESSIVE
2. LESS POWER
3. no use even after tuning *2022 model
4. sophisticated assembly
5. is fu*king hard for tuning

THATS ALL

Thanks a lot for your opinion. I think you made some very good points. Objectively, there is no reason to buy an H2 over an H2SX. But owning a motorcycle is not an objective decision, especially in Canada where we don't use motorcycles as a primary transportation medium. Here, a motorcycle is a big toy that should put a smile on your face while making you feel 20 years younger. And I cant see an H2SX achieving that more than an H2. But I respect everyone's opinion. They are both BEASTS.
