One of a Kind.....

We all know that the H2 will have a very limited production. If for no other reason than the price.

I've owned a few rare cars over the years but I've always chuckled at the car guys that say their car is '1 of 1' because it's 'the only car in 1971, that was blue, with a dual gate shifter and a hood tach' - or some crap like that. There's always a qualifier to make their car unique.

Sometimes they make thousands of cars but you can slice it down to a point where yours is '1 of 1'. It always seemed stupid to me.

In my case I have a Viper ACR, a fairly uncommon car but certainly nothing hyper exclusive. A few years ago I was with a bunch of guys that all seemed to think that they had the rarest car in the world - when they were basically surrounded by almost the exact same car.

So I made this video. It starts slow, but as it goes on it really becomes something amazing. There are no duplicates other than a couple at the end.

"My Viper, it's one of a kind, there's no other car like it in the entire world...."
Ya right!

PS, It's inteded to be funny.

It was at VOI-11. Viper Owners Invitational 11. In the event hotel parking lot in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.

It was way cool.

LOL, except for that one and that one, oh and that one, I guess that's another, and there's two more over there....

The fact that you have time and can be bothered to make merry videos for our entertainment makes you a cool guy ....Did you read my piece on Wide Mouthed Frogs?

wow

that is probably the most amount of V10's all in one location!
LOL, this is really funny. So many Vipers in one location. Very amusing video.

How was the actual event? I imagine going to a Viper get together puts a lot of egos in the same room.

that's what i'm trying to figure out.

if there was some mix of vehicles their and not just vipers i would have guessed it was some TX2K event.
It was all Viper owners - and it was very friendly. Everyone there loves Vipers so there was a common denominator. There was some very, very limited track time at Miller (I went the day before the event so I could get some 'real ' track time), dinners, drives.... It was really cool. They had us all sign a non-disclosure agreement so we could see the what's now current gen. Viper. We saw the V-10 drag car that Dodge was selling. We saw the first ever Viper, one of the Vipers that won at LeMans.....Lots of stuff to see and do. It was cool.

Having said that, I've never gone again, but it was fun.

I actually went because I was going to an event in Moab, Utah (a Hummer off road event) so I put my ACR in my race trailer, dropped it off at Salt Lake City then attended the Viper event on the way back home from Moab. It all worked perfectly.

Sounds like you do some pretty fun events. And you've got a sense of humor as well. Thanks for posting this up for us.
