Not necessarily on this forum but I have been seeing on other's complete lack of understanding that the H2 & H2R are only being offered one time for a limited time. Several people believe that Kawi will sell limited numbers of these kind of bikes for years to come. Although that would be cool, myself I'm hoping that's not the case for the H2 & H2R.

FORD originally indicated to Dealers that 2007 would be the only year that they would build the latest Shelby GT500 (I know, I bought one)... WRONG... FORD "lied" and has built them every year since.

For the sake of exclusivity, i.e., long term value, I also hope the H2 is "limited" in production to 2015 but I wouldn't bet on it.

It took a ton of engineering and man hours to create this bike. these corps hate wasting money like that I would be SHOCKED if they only do this one run of them...

Having said that.. Here is an opposing point of view, I also considered that since as we were told a thousand times its hand made. Or hand put together at least. This means Kawi most likely hasn't erected a new plant and definitely didn't need to make an expensive assembly line. The per unit cost is high but the overall overhead isn't AS bad. Only the initial r and d is lost, not whole factories and processes and engineered assembly lines. Just my .02

It's 11 am now and I'm losing my mind. Holding 2500 in cash foaming at the mouth and shaking lol the dealership is less than 15 minutes away.... :D

Turtle, I am going through the same thought process, except I am out of town. My dealer has my credit card info and is just waiting to put my name on an order. Oh, this is agony, to call or not to call!
