Kawasaki Indonesia brought an H2 out to play at Sentul Circuit over the weekend, it was out first prolonged look and listen of the road going H2. The real treat however was to come later. After the on track demo, the H2 was lined up with a ZX14 along Sentul's front stretch, you don't need me to tell you what happens next...

Remember folks, you've been lied to, the H2 is all hype, pure fraud, a marketeering wet dream, the video is probably fake...did I miss anything? ;)>:D

Enjoy, it won't be long now...

Yes, but with an explanation of what was going on. In he original post I could not tell what type of bike the H2 was running against.

Pretty impressive since the 14 has KTRC as well.

H2 destroys competition. Is there a production bike out there that could beat the H2 in a drag race? I have yet to see one.
No doubt the H2R would... and it's a "production bike." >:D

I'm going to reserve final judgement regarding the stock performance of the H2 until the series of Magazine Shoot-Outs are published. ;)

All you had to do was look at the title in the original video. It says zx14r vs. h2 not sure how you missed it..... The 14 isn't that fast lower end it takes till about 140 to get ripping.. there is videos showing 10rs and bmw beating them as well, they'd have bus lengths on the 14 but it would reel them in most of the time. Not sayin that would happen here but I'd like to see a longer race.... Also maybe I'm the only one to bring this up but if you listen at the beginning it sounds like the 14 is off.. All you can hear is the h2.. Now, imo this is due to the rider usin launch control, the h2 leaps off the line and never looks back but I'd like to see how much of the lead was gained immediately after launch. The h2 also has a qs and the 14 doesn't! For any of you that have a qs or have raced against one it's almost impossible to beat.. Generally a roll race shows the bikes performance better than a standing start.. Rider skill is much more involved.. Especially when the winning bike has launch control.. Not throwing a wet blanket just pointing out some things I noticed.
Here is some bmw vs 14r races. I picked the bmw over 10r cuz of stock qs and that its a little quicker... I guess lol much as I hate to admit it. I was reading about this turbo gen 4 and it put 270 to the tires and can pull wheelies at 175. It was in worlds fastest wheelie comp I guess. Kawi worked with devolpment to shock se the 10rs engines and transmissions strengths, what isn't replaced by these kits lol the stage 2 is just stupid 400rwhp holy

the race vids are last 3

I missed it because when I opened the link to youtube the screen shot took up my whole screen and I could not see the title. I just watched the video and then closed it.

you never answered my question in another post when I asked if you ordered an H2, did you?

Oh I see I was confused as it clearly said it... :) and I didn't see your question also I didn't get one... I was out of riding for a few years but a chance ride to bike store with my buddy to get some stupid part for his scooter took care of that.. They sell every manufacturer except Suzuki and who cares about them as of 2015.... So I had choice of bmw, 10r, cbr 1k, ebr, r1, and possibly a 1199 pani and I chose the 10r. Now keep in mind I bought it the day before Kawi announced the h2 but I had heard gossip.. Anyways I had really wanted the r1 but not being able to disable the abs troubled me. I can afford the 2 bikes and considered just ordering the **** thing but for the first time in my life I actually have a savings and it's proved more difficult than anticipated to piss away.... When I'd get loans it was no big deal but driving to dealership with a bag of money is different... I drive a Toyota Corolla too keep in mind, I'd probly buy a sweet car for that kind of money focus at, Subaru brz or something along those lines. It does.make me sick to my stomach that I'm not getting one if it makes you feel any better... It sucks cuz I really like the new bmw and r1, but I really landed on riding the gen 4 till the gen 5s been out for a year.. But I'm impatient as the day is long.. I like latest and greatest and on this site I'm not alone I don't think :D

I already have a zzr 1400 2012....... just deliver me H2 will tell you which goes faster :)))

I too own the ZX 14R. Really looking forward to my first encounter with the H2. This will be when I make my decision on whether or not to make the purchase. Or may just up the Boost on 14R. Want this bike badly but it is allot of money. Going to be a great summer

Turning up the wick will certainly net you the desired straight line speed, but no matter how much boost you pump it'll never make the 14 turn like the H2 can...

No, most certainly won't. That being said is what has my interest peaked. I'm 6'2 240 lbs. If I fit, H2 purchase will be made. If not I'll see you in the straights. For now hoping to learn as much as I can from you guys.

Cheers

I'm sure it was Rickey Gadson who first rode the H2 and 14 together and said the bigger bike was faster at the start because of wheelbase, then the H2 caught it in the second eighth. Overall there wasn't very much between them over a quarter.

I wouldn't put too much faith in the video at the start of this topic.

From the superbike piece...

Through the right-left-right-right flick in the middle of the track, the weight of the bike was obvious, but not an issue. You don’t ride this bike thinking it’s like a ZZR or a Hayabusa, you ride it thinking it’s like a ZX-10R or a GSX-R and that’s a good thing.

I think were talking apples and orange's here.

Gadson is a drag racer, so his perpective is from that angle.
The journalist's reviewing the bikes are road racers...

From the beginning a ZX/ZZR 14 had a drag racing focus...pretty hard to beat.

Yes, he's a drag racer and the video is of a ZX14R and H2 on a drag strip which is why I mentioned him and why I think his comparison may be more realistic.
