Thanks for the info which I trust is reliable.

The H2 will certainly be notably more expensive than a ZX-14R... low production numbers, technology and hand-built.

I assume that actual availability starting dates won't be released until the H2 reveal on November 4th.

Spring 2015 will be just fine for me... hope we have an early Spring in the Toronto area in Canada. :)
Good info Will, Cheers! Is he going specifically for an H2 event?
Great information thanks for posting about it.
All hand built? That is pretty cool. There is something special about knowing that it was a person and not a robot that made your bike. Probably another reason for the higher cost of the bike though. Machine manufacturing would probably lower the price some.

If you watched all of the earlier videos, you would have seen that Robots definitely are used in the production of the H2R and H2... just not presumably the final assembly of the engine and the bike itself.

Can you post a estimate on price in the US in US dollars?
If Kawi is going to give the H2 a ridiculous price tag, I want to stop wasting my time following the H2.

Thanks.

Even though expected to be expensive, hopefully, the H2 will be a "comparative" bargain.

Check out the cost of bolt-on superchargers offered here:

SUPERCHARGER KITS | YAMAHA | HONDA | SUZUKI | KAWASAKI | KTM | BMW | DUCATI | MV AGUSTA

I've seen systems for $3,500 USD.
Kawi costs will be SIGNIFICANTLY lower.
Are we really comparing the cost of a bolt on system to a bespoke engineered system specific to this application...

Looking at the likely comparative cost of the end result... not totally apples and oranges.

he is going for a full factory visit :)

must be a great experience :)
Never really thought about aftermarket superchargers. I guess I just thought of them as part of larger tuning packages that companies come out with. Do you think that any companies will tune the H2? That bike would be scary fast.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, after all of this hype build up, if Kawasaki releases the H2 at unreasonable price levels ($25k+), I will not buy another Kaw product again. Not trying to be dramatic, just telling it like it is. It's not $10k+ better than an S1000RR, supercharger or not. Not when 350+ hp is possible out of a liter bike for $6-7k, professionally installed and tuned.
Hand Built

My Dealer Said Made To Order With $1000 Down

90-120 Days From Time Of Order Untill Delivery

Orders Can Be Placed On Or After November Fourth

So The First Bikes Will Hit The Showrooms Feb-March 2015

Should Be $24,995 For The H2 / $49,995 For The H2R But Not Offical

Both Of Those Prices Are More Than I Wanted To Spend(H2/20K---H2R/40K)

But Nothing Is Offical Untill It's Offical From Kawasaki On November 4th ;)

I think where the attraction of the H2 sits is because the package was built around the supercharger, not a supercharger fitted to the the package. Yes you can get stupid power froma liter bike on the fairly cheep, but we're talking power mods, add in new suspension components and you're easily into the $10K's. Oh, and warranty...

Keep drinking that Kool Aid.
PT Barnum said a sucker was born every minute.
I'm not a sucker.
Price the H2 right and I will buy one. If not, I, and many others, will laugh at Kawi's greed and stupidity and spend our money elsewhere.

LOL you and logic really don't get along well. The world is not binary, commerce is a world of mutual exchange, it doesn't have to be KAWASAKI IS GREEDY or THIS BIKE IS SEXXX...

You'd think for someone as abrasive as you your mind could at least cash the cheques your keyboard is writing ;)

The bike is more than just a bolt on supercharger, but in all fairness, if thats all you really feel the H2 is why not put your money where your mouth is and blow a ZX? I mean you're the one who's always prattling on about value and worth, so put some where your mouth is, show us all how downright uninformed we are. PLEASE?

what would you like pricing on the H2 to be around for you to want to buy it?
