Ninja H2 and H2R to be built in extremely limited quantities

I am reading that the Ninja H2 and H2R will not be built in great quantities. Auto Evolution reports:

Mr. Sudati tells us that around 100 bikes will be made, and this number comprises both H2R and H2 machines. A 50:50 ratio is expected, but this is definitely far from being certain. Either way, we’re looking at small-run machines only few lucky and well-budgeted riders will be able to claw. Apparently, pre-orders have already been placed, but the actual shipping date remains to be decided.
That is very exclusive and limited. I didn't realize that soooo few would be built.

I had a feeling it would be limited but not by that much, 100 is not much at all but at least it helps with making them even more special, especially when it comes to owning one.
That's completely untrue.

Kawi will make as many as they get orders for.

You place and order with a $2,500 deposit and

YOU GET A BIKE.

Hence, MADE TO ORDER.

People need to stop spreading lies

and misinformation online.

It's annoying as sh#t.

@1krider you are really getting out of control. You need to calm down.

I read that in an article and it is direct from William Sudtai's mouth who is the head of marketing for kawasaki Europe. Here is a link to the article.

It may be incorrect but its not like I'm lying or it came out of thin air.

Take a chill pill dude.

Also it says in the quote "this is definitely far from being certain" so I'm not sure what you are freaking out about.

I'm calm. Im just tired of reading the same misinformation over and over again.

Now, that I have given you the CORRECT information, this erroneous thread can be deleted.

The fact is simple.
LOW DEMAND DUE TO THE RIDICULOUS PRICE WILL LIMIT PRODUCTION, not the other way around.
If you are willing to pay $25k, and put up $2,500, you WILL get a H2.
1Krider, you are totally correct , they say that the production will be limited to the fools go rushing to buy bike !!!!!!!!!!! clowns !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is true and could very well be the case but the original post did seem to be legit.

The original post is NOT legit.
Let this inaccurate thread die.
I don't really see how the opening post is wrong at all. It says approximately 100 could be built. Whether that is in reaction to demand or is decided beforehand is not stated in the post so it all seems to make sense to me. Pretty sure we are all agreeing there will be limited quantities. Besides, its not like @1krider has supported his assertion with any articles or documents or anything.

In Canada there is NO specific H2 order limitation but an order deadline for a secure allocation. It also appears that you can place an order after December 18, 2014 but without any guarantee that it will be filled.

"In order to secure your Ninja H2, please place an order with your local dealer between November 4 and December 18, 2014.

MSRP: $27,500
Deposit Required: $5,000
Shipping Dates: Local Dealers to confirm

Please note: Production capacity is highly limited due to the Ninja H2’s hand-crafted production methods, therefore limiting the total number of units available globally. Please place your deposit no later than 5pm EST, December 18, 2014 to initiate your H2. Confirmed customer orders received after December 18, 2014 will be placed on a priority waiting list."

Can you read?
Do you know how to do a Google search?
Anyone who can do both knows that H2 production is NOT LIMITED.

IF YOU PUT UP A DEPOSIT, KAWASAKI WILL BUILD YOU ONE.

I don't know if people are stupid, aregumentative, or both.
The biggest proof that the production of h2 will not be small , and in one of his videos, to see the serial number of the engine, that around the number 000346 or close to it, so do not remember exactly here and video !!!!!
Actually , the video serial number of the engine and h2r, is not h2 .

I can't express my dearest love for you 1K Rider, I think shuji yamazaki is probably stupid and argumentative....

You're right they will build to order but that is not mutually exclusive with limited production runs. Take Ferrari for example, they were limiting supply to 10,000 vehicles per year, yet all their cars are built to order...

Besides as you keep telling us no one is going to buy the bike so ergo limited production. ;) Don't you like logic?

Thanks Bazza for that outstanding letter from Yamazaki.

I spoke to my bud at kawi. he said there will be an ordering cut off date, announced soon.
The H2 is not an unlimited production bike, unlike what some knuckleheads have been
jabbering.

Like I said, after the motorcycle show in NYC I will have a better idea if I should go for
an H2 or the Yamaha R1M?

How is it limited production if ANYONE can place a deposit TODAY and get a bike made for them?

The lack of intelligence in this thread has me shaking my head.

I'm going to go to a fashion show in Manhattan and tell all the girls modeling that my bracciole only has limited availability and see how Kawasaki's sales BS works for me. LMFAO

Thanks for posting that, it sure does help to see this sort of thing from an official source

Again, limited production and placing a deposit are NOT mutually exclusive. Anyone can place a deposit so long as there is capacity remaining. Say they're only making 1000 bikes, they will take a deposit from anyone until they have built 1000 bikes. How does this not make sense to you?

But again, don't take my word for it... Like @ninja boy said above there is a cut off date.

2015 NINJA H2? Ninja H2?R / H2? Motorcycle by Kawasaki

So essentially what you are saying is that fashion models have zero demand for your bracciole, yea and? ;)0:)

Because they did NOT make that decision and they WILL make as many bikes as they get orders for.
Only an idiot fails to see that the H2 is CLEARLY NOT LIMITED PRODUCTION.

I stand by my statement:
H2 production is NOT limited.
The DEMAND for a TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLAR 1000cc Kawi sportbike that costs TWICE the price of a ZX10 ABS is what's limited.
