Hello All,
I bought a 2015 H2 yesterday. It has 2000 miles on the clock with Vandemon/Brock 2/PC5/reflash giving 290hp apparently, according to the dyno print out at least. Rode 90 motorway miles home. It's certainly very, very loud and clearly very quick. Quite pleased.

G'day UKH2,

Good site here with plenty of valuable info.

Looks like a well sorted bike you have! 2000 miles is bugger all for a 2015, virtually new!

Welcome UKH2. The only other Vandemon equipped H2 I've heard of around here is one which Jack Frost (Holeshot Racing) was building.

The noise level's going to preclude you from running it in Straightliners events and most track-days. Pity, it would be interesting to see how it goes. I have the Akrapovič Evo system on my H2 and it passes the 105dB noise limit with the baffle out, I put it back in for road riding. A friend with an H2R has swapped to this system too because the original exhaust for the "R" which is similar to a Vandemon was over 120dB.

Welcome to this site. Lots of people willing to help with all sorts of things, you just have to ask.

You will have fun, all the videos, reviews and the bar talk doesn't do the bike justice, now that you own one you will understand how difficult anything about the bike is hard to put into words.

Me, I prefer silent stealth power. Have been down the noisy exhaust path, for serious riding it becomes annoying as well being unable to hear the engine which is quite important. All the sounds the engine makes tells a story, ask any mechanic.

Sounds great but 290bhp without SC gears? Cool tho.

Thanks everyone.

Lamf1969:

Forgot to mention the Bear sc2 gears.

The work was carried out by Tim Blakemore of drag racing repute, in Bristol and dynoed by RK Performance.

BobC/Rick150:

I couldn't hear anything properly for awhile, after an hour and half motorway ride home and take your other points.I'll enjoy the novelty of the noise, for the moment at least.

zzrob:

I look forward to any meet ups and it has rained persistently since the ride home! Typical.

What’s your bike ownership history? Please don’t say a 125 scooter!
The Vandemon is in my opinion far superior to anything else available for the H2 , looks like the only exhaust company the bothered to invest in a pipe bender but the standard Kawasaki down pipes have the best curves I’ve seen this side of a porn site .
Think I could put up with the noise for a while too.

Yes,pipes a decent size and a nicely blued polished ti.

Bike history started with a suzuki a100 and c90 then onto a 125 superdream then up to a cbx6,after that several versions of bmws' venerable boxer until the 1000rx came along, followed by a zx10 thereafter a steady diet of zx11,12&14, gtr thous,a track bike, hayabusas and mvf4 750/1000 and currently an f4rr.

I still have my c90 and two CBXs , they are great for making the H2 feel even quicker. Interesting bike history.
Thanks.

I wish I'd had the foresight to have kept mine too, just the memories, good and bad,of how they rode remain, those being of smoothness, power and tankslappers for the big honda, and punctures and crashes for the step thru!

I looked forward to the h2 doing what the cbx did, which was excitement and fear!
