What year H2? and if it's later than 2017 why did you change it?
Hi Rick,
Why this shock absorber? and not the famous TTX 36 Ohlins!
For a 200kg "Streetfighter" that does not go on the track, that does not carry luggage or passengers.
I don't use it! The goal is to improve grip on acceleration, and this on the road every day, without getting lost in suspension settings.
A well calibrated spring and two high and low speed hydrolism settings, with a trim adjustment is enough for me
. with 400 g less.
Just realised there were quite alot of things you had to tuck away from the head fairing in this conversion. Nice work.
Thanks, it makes me happy that someone realizes the work done (whether we like the result or not ;)).
All the electronics of the motorcycle are now in the rear fram and are fully functional without any deletions.
And required a new diagram of electrical wires (about 200 wires and as many welds) the correct positioning of the inertial unit... plus the migration of the ABS unit and the installation of all custom brake lines...😓👍
Was thinking about the abs too. In mine, i removed the abs for good, running direct from master to caliper.
Yes, removing ABS was a good option especially for the weight and for the track.
But, my challenge was to keep the technological motorcycle by reducing it by 60kg!🤔
FlashTuneECU don't make an ABS delete unit for the H2 yet unfortunately, but how have you dealt with the ecu showing a fault code and not running in limp mode without the ABS unit on?
I know a previous member who did track riding on his H2 had removed the ABS setup and ran old fashioned direct brake lever to front brake setup like you, but he retained the plug in sensor unit so as not to throw a fault code, Simply tied the plug in unit to the frame.

Similar to the other rider, ripped out everything from the ABS leaving only the chip and connector. There was no error code, but the abs light would remain on. I suspect one of the return current signal is missing.

Simply took a black decal and pasted over the abs light.
