The part of the render that I don't like is the body work that covers where the engine is. I think that Kawasaki will find something better to do instead of just putting a panel there with a hole in it.
Like what? I mean realistically there is not much wiggle room with what can and cannot be done with a fairing...The part of the render that I don't like is the body work that covers where the engine is. Well not all fairings are the same, so I'm sure they can find something to do that is a bit more interesting. A few contours, maybe some graphics... I'm not a bike designer but I would think that bike designers would be able to come up with something a bit more innovative for a flagship model.Like what? The vents can be designed in different ways. Maybe in a way that makes them look a bit nicer so they don't get called holes. There is just not much that can be done with fairings, and the 'holes' are vents that help cool the engine, H2 being supercharged its going to need all the 'holes' they can muster without messing too hard with aero (although thats almost a paradox when it comes to motorbikes with monkeys on their backs)
Its more about the idea. Its not like that concept design vent is not possible or something. Sure the last one is similar to the render's but it is still different. If you want the vents designed differently, why didnt you just say so in the first place![]()
P.S the S1000RR is universally accepted as the ugliest bike on the market, powerful yes, pretty no.
The second bike does not exist
and the 1098's vent is nearly identical to the original H2 render...
maybe they forgot about making the windscreen appear clear. The render makes the front fairing look weird. What is going on with the windscreen. Is it grey plastic? SHouldn't it be clear instead?
That must be what your super flow dyno guy told you . . .Vents add horsepower![]()
