Hi everyone Appreciate your input in advance

I'm looking at Friends Dads 2015 H2 with 7500 miles odo ,all stock he did sell the original side fairings and put moto composite carbon sided fairings on it.....beyond that the bike is stock and in great condition. He has both keys and the First year owners package and books. Im in Nor California and don't see many of theses come up for sale.

What is a fair market price.......he want me to come up with an offer> I dont want to offend him and also not overpay.

Thanks for any input

if you look at nada guides it shows somewhere between 12 and 16 grand. Maybe ask him what he would consider selling for to give you a frame of reference.
He wants 18500 seems a bit steep :(
I would not go with "NADA". I did a search just for the kicks of it on a 2022 new H2 with 500 miles in excellent condition they are saying 19k LOL..

really? I just did a standard search without stating miles and it gave me average of 28k

but yea, 18.5 does seem pretty high, factor in that it doesn’t have oem fairings (which is always an eyebrow raiser to me) and it seems like it’s a lot.
At the end of the day though it’s worth whatever someone will pay for it.

Thats weird :censored: not sure what I had in there to get to 19k..carry on
I think Ill keep working on him...... I think i could be happy at $17000 but agree as you said its worth what someone is willing to pay.
In 2015 we thought the bike was gonna be a limited rdition collectable so many purchased for that reason. If it truly is all stock consider you'll be getting essentially a brand new bike minus the expensive plastics. If hes a seller he should take 17k due to missing plastics. Also consider the newer models have color display, lighter clutch and upgraded TC may be worth if you can find a clean one. I have same year and mileage bike ;) you cant go wrong getting that beast. Thanks! I'm hoping he will come down to 17k
@Tree Fox who goes by nada nowadays? Lol. Missing the OEM fairings on both sides is a red flag but if you find an h2 below 20k anywhere that is a steal! Seen a few 15's going for over 20 and actually selling, they don't even come up on the market very often good luck finding one mint. Considering it is a family friend he might get a good deal but like you said it is worth someone is willing to pay.
I always go by nada when I’m buying something. Selling is a different story, though.

Most sellers I’ve come across will meet me within the limits of the nada averages.

of course I’m trying to get as much as I can when I’m selling and if it’s something many people want, I’m less negotiable.

regardless, buying from a family friend should get a slightly better deal, but it is what it is.

Thanks that helps as well ......sounds like 17k to 18k is still a deal if it hasn't been dropped .....getting more details on the fairing replacement today
