Kawasaki Ninja H2R "Built Beyond Belief" Advertisement

Kawasaki has released a new video for the Ninja H2R. The sound track of this ad makes the Ninja H2R seem like it is the messiah of motorcycles or something. Granted, that may not be too far from the truth. Aside from that the ad just tells people about the production process and features of the H2R. Worth a watch for sure.

I would have much rather heard the supercharger wailing than that bird Warbling...

Looks like it's time to amend that slogan to "Lies Beyond Belief".
Looks like it's time to amend that slogan to "Lies Beyond Belief".

Come on H2R, I understand where you coming from, but wait until you get yours and some time has gone by and see how this whole thing pans out.

I can't help but think this thing is still going to be pretty exclusive and will perform up there with the best of them.

Have a beer on me and chill a bit. It's going to all be good.

"Looks like it's time to amend that slogan to "Lies Beyond Belief"."...LOL!!!Too Funny;)

H2R...why not cancel your order since you honestly feel this way...and be done with it.You don't HAVE to take delivery.I mean...it seems like you're totally now fully disappointed with all of it.I think the reason you haven't cancelled is because somewhere inside you KNOW this bike really IS built beyond anything now out there...with so much potential. That's what I think. You wouldn't want to be the guy that ordered...then bailed...then found out..."WTF did I do...look at what they're doing with this bike now".

Your supposition that this particular bike is gonna be reprised as a production bike in a year or whatever...you don't KNOW that.Yet you're condemning Kawasaki in saying they've lied to you.I mean..it's certainly your choice to believe this way...but really, you very well may be stressing yourself over nothing...getting worked up over something that just most likely isn't gonna happen. You're spoiling it for yourself. Why are you doing that?

Honestly...if I felt as you do and as strongly as you do...I'd be ditching my order and going shopping for another bike...and R1,BMW...Suzuki.Something other than a bike that'd remind me of the fiasco I just experienced. If I felt this way...I'd NEVER get another Kawasaki...maybe you should try out a new r1 or something?Just sayin.

You CAN call the California Main Office in Irvine...and talk to em....and if they told you.."nope,this run is it"...THEN what would you say,or think?Really...what would you think.Would you still be hanging onto something that isn't fact...or trusting the rep...and what he says.I mean...tell him...tell him you're cancelling your order...and why.He WILL respond...I guarantee ya.Would you be willing to let go,and believe him?

If I felt deceived like how you feel...it'd be all over...they can keep the deposit....I'll spend the balance(which would be somewhat less)on a new 1000 sportbike...N/A of course...but NOT a Kawasaki.

I haven't cancelled yet because I can't believe they're doing this again. It's 2000 all over again. It's like they learned nothing. Today was the last straw. Come Friday if there's no answer from Kawasaki, I will cancel. In my head I already have cancelled but I'm still loyal enough to give them a chance to fix it; flash the ECU to re-instate the castrated horsepower, warranty it and then cancel any order placed outside the originally specified deadlines. If at least 2 of those 3 things don't happen, not only am I out on the H2, I'm switching brands.

They can't honestly expect me to pay 30k for a bike that's only putting out 197 hp with a $1600 aftermarket exhaust that only makes power to 10k. They've disabled 30% of the rev range? That's ludicrous. That's like buying a Hellcat, paying full price and only getting the valet key.

And what about the image? This isn't going to be a secret for long. Those of you bought it in part for bragging rights. The only thing anyone's going to see now is an idiot riding a 30K neutered bull. You'll be the guy at bike night arriving on silver plated disappointment. The only conversation you'll have all night is about 'what Kawasaki should have done...". In one dyno run it's gone from King D*ck to the Spruce Goose.

You have GOT to be kidding me Kawasaki.

They KNOW guys are gonna flash that ECU...so it's not like they made it impossible. You take out the ECU...flash it...install...and there ya go.Simple.They HAVE to protect their manufacturing parameters...surely you can see this. They know guys will ditch the exhaust...how hard is that?So you spend some on this...okay...not really a big deal...you have to do that on ANY modern bike if ya want the big guns.Just the way it is....you can't change what they NEED to do to make this bike(or any other)available. If it was up to the regulators...there'd be no 200 HP bikes...nothing.They're doing all they can to get this machine to us.Knowing it's restricted...but showing a clear path on how to open it up(through guys like Guhl an such). They KNOW this. It's just too early to do any of this...but it will happen..soon as these guys get into the ECU.

What's a flash cost?Maybe 400+ dollars...maybe less...Probably less. You can bet whoever gets this flash first and right is gonna be rollin in the bucks. They're right now working on it...believe that...you think Gadsen is NOT allowing Brocks to take a look...change things around. When this bike gets to us...the flash most likely will be virtually sealed. All those concerns you have are gonna be addressed.

"The only conversation you'll have all night is about 'what Kawasaki should have done...".not me...I'll be riding...not posing;)They can think what they want...I'll be riding. They'll be wishing.Put this factory H2 up against ANY of those new bikes...the only thing they're gonna see is taillights...and not for long.

I'll bite...so what happened in 2000?

It'll do two tons with mild coaxing.... but seriously unless you're on the Wangan-sen where does one need MORE than 300 kmh?
