Courtesy of member @1krider we have our first officially official photograph of the Ninja H2 on our hands. The first clean look at the front of the Ninja H2-R is a clear departure from normally accepted operating procedures and a blatant "come at me" challenging the industry to meet the new bar.

• 300 Horsepower Target
• H2 and H2-R
• 998 cc 16 valve inline four cylinder
• Involved the Gas Turbine & Machinery Company, Aerospace Company and Corporate Technology Division of KHI
• Trellis Frame
• CF Aero Package (effective or gimmick?)

I love my Gen4 ZX-10, but miss the low end grunt of my GSX-R 1k.
Hopefully, the H2 will be the game changer I think it is.

Since they are teasing at them on the video's, you can bet that it will have them. The R, anyway.


The real question is, will there still be a street (non r) version? and will IT have them? I hope not. Or that maybe they can be unbolted or swapped out and replaced with a "standard" type fairing.

going from the first teaser shot, I would say the street model will not, well at least not in the same capacity, there does seem to be some small aero feature on the front, but no where near the H2-R...

Ostensibly I would say the winglets will be for cooling. Likely that they will create a low pressure zone behind which will force feed air down into the intercooler...

That exhaust port is screaming for porting. Of course the wings will be replaced by mirrors in the street version, but they will definitely be aerodynamic "wings" like we've seen in F1.

With that said, they should have shown us a video showing how aerodynamic these wings are, how air is directed in the way they designed it. Maybe that will come later on.
