Just got it. Still breaking it in. Did everyone do the full break it. I already broke down & twisted the throttle a few times. I put in low power mode figure better for break in 🤣

Yep, very careful with the break-in. Also keep it cool, no long idles at the lights.

congrats, i go the 2020. Still pending the needle bearing recall, will do it myself, since I dont trust any shop near me.

I still have a 2019 GSXS 1000Z with a stainless steel header and a pro-race slash cut tip, loud af, and love the shit out of it. But its a totally different animal compared to the SX

My gsxs1000f just so touchy with wobbles on high speed acceleration. & with no tune on off throttle was touchy..

What was ur post? ( found it but wouldn't let me reply)
I ended up leaving it in low power for break in reving to 8k. First 300miles maybe less. Then I put in full power a few times to redline. But mostly next 200 miles I took it easy. Waited till 500 or 600 miles to do pulls. Miles came up quick to break it in

When they change the run in oil, don't let the d's overfill the engine oil and saturate your air filter, if they do, check and record opening the small oil catch can, my sx had 500ml too much oil, that in turn stuffed the paper airfilter, well done H2 mechanic!
