Is This the FIRST Deposit on a Ninja H2?

Well that was certainly fast, @K-power over on ZX-10R.net posted up a picture of a $500 invoice from the Motorcycle Mall in Belleville, NJ for a deposit on a 2015 Kawasaki Ninja H2.

Granted a $500 deposit does still not change the fact that pricing is still speculation at this point.

no worries, glad you've joined us. Did the dealer have any information on the H2 whatsoever? I'm just curious how the process went down basically, obviously the dealer knew enough about the H2 to take a deposit on it, but they had to know enough that you felt comfortable enough to give them dollars....
Yea second that, has Kawasaki USA let them in on anything yet?
Pricing

Pricing in Australia is just over $30,000 for the "std" production model & just over $50,000 for the special "race" model if anyone is interested.
That's not a secret. Just ask your dealer how much they are if you don't believe me.
Bikes have already been ordered by dealers here & I would guess sold to the public "sight unseen" Don't know how many are coming down here. That would be interesting to know.

you end up laying coin down?
Lol got my $ 10.000 Deposit back
9/10/14 odammmmmmmm.
Here in CA, can't order it, haven't seen it, no pricing yet, only a whole bunch of speculation from the trusty ol' internet where adults and children alike blindly get their facts about everything. I work in the industry and seriously folks, don't believe anything until it is official.
Just a side note, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone from marketing is throwing random numbers out there to get public reaction. Nothing happens by accident here.

I have to assume that someone wouldn't put a deposit down on a bike when they don't know how expensive the bike is when they will eventually have to pay full price. The guy who put down this deposit must know how much the Ninja H2 costs.
This is odd...500 dollars...in September?"good One"....;)

oh man that was just the start of the madness, you see that scathing take down Jenson wrote on A&R that probably helped us all find our way here? :D;)
Didn't read that...sounds like fun though...I'll check er out when I get back from workLOL!!!Where do I find it?

I went to A&R(asphalt and rubber, yes?)but couldn't find any articles by "Jenson" on there about the H2...only a slideshow type of deal with info on the bike(two moveable panes) that was basically factory info.Did i miss something?
Here's that same video embedded:

Probably one of my favorites of the H2!
