Is this the 2015 Kawasaki Ninja H2-R?

Popular Japanese magazine Young Machine offers us what is probably our closest look at the H2 prior to launch next week. The image in question is of the Ninja H2-R, the oft rumoured, little known race spec version of the H2. Most intriguing they list a 300 PS power figure (295 hp), if the figure turns out true the H2-R would be making more power than most MotoGP prototypes.

Young Machine has a reputation for leaks, their most recent claim to fame was during the launch of the Yamaha R25. They've also stirred the pot in the past with rumours and renderings of Honda's oft proposed, never produced V4 Honda RCV1 street bike.

Interesting, certainly looks like a track bike with no mirrors or turn signals. The engine as far as I can tell is the image from last years Tokyo show where Kawi first showed the supercharged concept.

Of course that doesn't mean that what young machine is saying is unture, as the 300 power figure is one we've heard a few times now...
I just looked at the front forks For sure WSBK front forks.Look at the bottom Reservoir sweettttttttt.
If it is and if the bike is going to be non-descript, it'll be a BS marketing campaign - winner on social media but loser on delivery. To win, this thing has to impact more at least than the Diavel did and stay there.

Rock.

Had to crank up brightness on my monitor all the way up. You are right. Those look like Ohlin's gas shocks. They are $15k alone. That would push the bike way beyond $50k with all that carbon from todays teaser.

Now that's crazy pricing. At least it seems like it will be a real beast

As soon as you mentioned $50k right away I just thought of the desmosedici rr. That beast is $70k a limited production road legal version of the GP one.

it's going to be pricey! :(

unless.. they offer a watered down version.

Really excited about this new bike. Big kawasaki fan, bought the 2011 zx10r awesome bike but when it was put on the dyno the power didn't match the claims. Ended up fitting power commander, quick shifter, dropped 2 teeth on the front sproket, scorpion race pipes now getting 186 rwhp. Really hope the h2 has a quick shifter standard to.
I think the Volume 9 video they showed off today is the Ninja H2-R, that much carbon and aero affects (useful or not) are clearly the domain of a high dollar track bike...

I wouldn't mind a watered down version, $50k is well beyond my budget.
