I got nailed in a sudden 1.75" deluge here today. The worst thing is I couldn't remember how to get into the rain mode. It didn't matter, I needed an "ark mode".
I think if ya just ride like you know the traction isn't gonna be there as if in the dry...you're fine.Hydroplaning is probably the biggest hazard,aside from freshly wet road surfaces.Just gotta be a bit cautious...IMO.
I once rode in the rain and never again. It was in October, a bit chilly and I was riding while soaked. That experience changed my mind on getting sliders for my ride. It may not be pretty but if anything happens at least the damage will be minimized.
Hey, OneArmBandit,Thanks for the videos. I felt like I was riding along with you! I'm not sure why both of the blinkers were blinking. And I'm not sure if that was the exhaust doing that droning noise.
