I have a 2015 H2, in the service manual it states that whenever the initial problem that causes a code to show is rectified, the code no longer displays. However, it remains in the ecu memory. To delete it from the ecu memory it states to use the Kawasaki Diagnostic System, and further that if doing so then the Accelerator position and throttle position data of the throttle bodies has to be registered to the ecu as explained in the manual (process of running the engine for a certain time and temp). I'm presuming it automatically registers these settings in the ecu when this function is performed.

If you have the manual online or usb, then you should be able to at least clear the code from displaying on the gauges.
