The ride has been discussed quite a bit, already, so I'll do that a bit later.

Hope to have a good Palomar knee drag report with video this Sunday.

For now, a couple of quick observations.

Rear Stand Spool:

On closer look, a 12 point opening on either end of the spindle.

The round shaft inside is a larger ID, with the 12 pt openings about

1/2 an inch or so deep. Looks like the opening of a 12 pt socket.

A round spindle that just fits inside may be a bit sloppy and will

have to be longer for some stability, reaching through the other end.

I will have to check to see if spindle shaft is 1 piece and indexed before I

design a pin which may be 12 point continuous or 12 pt on the ends.

The internal measurement of the 12 pt is 24 mm or 15/16 " .

Measured and had a 15/16 nut from a 1924 Harley tranny I'm rebuilding.

I placed inside the Kaw spindle and was very close fit inside.

Nothing but precision gauges, here. >:D

Some footpeg adjustment will be done.

Have a pair of peg mounts that I made originally for a 2010 BMW S 1000RR.

They go inside existing clevis, so no mods to bike, itself.

These a good ball park rear set that can have the peg down, or down and

back an inch or more.

Even this small amount can be felt in the difference on tightness of knee.

Jacket and t shirt for temp bike cover inside garage. ;)

H 2 at Palomar, now , and will be running and maybe have some video.

We have wild peacocks and turkies around the ranch.

Tried to get this one closer to the bike for a picture.

Even without the perspctive, he was longer.
