First Bike Accessory

Other than rider gear what is, or is going to be, your first H2 specific bike accessory?

My first will be a bike stand for the single sided swing arm. Does anyone make one that fits the H2 yet?

I'll also ask the dealer to install a pig tail for a battery charger before I pick up the bike. The winters are long here. I'll also use the pig tail for an electric vest if it gets below freezing.

I have no doubt Kawasaki will do a bike stand. It's Kawasaki's first single sided swingarm and they will insist dealers have a stand for working on the bike - it may even be part of the compulsory workshop tooling for dealers who are selling/servicing the H2.

The stand will also be high on my list, along with something to protect the paint on the tank ..........

I'm sure Kawi will have one as well , that would be a nice throw in for the premium price.;)

Knowing the rear axle ID would be nice to give us options though...

When you guys get your bikes...one caution...DO NOT use ANY cleaners like windex or ammonia based cleaners...also...DO NOT rub the finish harsh or repeatedly when drying.Mild soap and water....ONLY.Most definitely read that Owners Manual FIRST.

Installing a new Shorai in mine as well...have it already...with pigtail(and charger).I'm very glad it's not necessary to remove ANY fairings and such. It's right there under the seat...EASY.

Also have a Heindl Pivot stand.Should make lifting for service a snap;)Works most excellent with my 14.
I'm a major fan of Pit Bull Products and have a variety of their motorcycle stands.

I just submitted an online query whether Pit Bull plans on producing a front stand and a single sided swingarm rear stand for the H2 / H2R.

I'll report back with Pit Bull's response.

The single sided swingarm rear stand by Pit Bull would mostly likely be like this:

I like the idea of a tank pad too...... I'm a big guy so my zipper will scratch the paint without it. I really don't want one - but it might be the best choice for me.

Just got a prompt response back from Pit Bull regarding its single sided swingarm rear stand for the H2:

"We JUST finished the pin for the H2 single sided swingarm stand. I don't have a picture of it on the bike just yet, but you should be able to order one if you need it." :)

That's great news! I presume that Kawasaki will NOT be delivering the bike with a stand? I think that's a safe prediction.
