Could have been his new air filter breaking in. I heard they take a little while to open up after you ride it a bit.

I actually thought it was the dyno drum noise from the camera picking it up.

You don't need to defend yourself.But I would see an ear specialist at some time to make sure everything's ok in there;)Too many straight pipes?That'll do it to ya.TOO FUNNY...yer killin me here;)

I have been reading/watching your posts, videos and handiwork for the past two years, nice work. I have a flashed 2015 H2 with Akropovic exhaust and a gutted CAT.

I was watching the boost temp the other day, started at 82%F and after a short blast thru 2nd, 3rd gear the temp climbed to about 155%F in less than 7 or 8 seconds, 80%F outside temp.

Was this your experience before the intercooler was installed ? BTW my bike runs pig rich, and pops on deceleration.

You used to have what looked like after market wings on your bike, who made them, what did they cost and why did you remove them ?

Hi Rody,

Yes I kept ignition timing stock and ran the bike rich for a while. My boost temps hardly every went over 205*F. It works but you sacrifice about 5-10hp on the top end.

The popping on Decel goes away when you remove the emissions stuff, disable the air switching valve and don't run the AFR as rich.

Those are aftermarket winglets made by Bearracing.com They run about $1200 for the set that I had.

I never painted them. I applied Vinyl but it didn't come out to nice. I took them off to paint them but I never got around to it.

I will most likely be buying the Activemoto Carbon wings in the future and will sell these at some point.
