Extended Warranty

I was just told by a dealership that Kawasaki is selling extended warranties up to 4 years in addition to the 1 year warranty that come with the bike. I was quoted $1680 for a 4 year warranty extension. The 1 year extension was $1100.

That's good to know;)It means they're gonna have plenty of parts available...maybe even those......H2R engine mods Parts.LOL...including the right side air duct screen....;)WEEEEEEE!!!!!
Agreed, want that right side airduct screen!
I think Kawi is offering a second year warranty this year in Canada anyways.
Guys in order to purchase h2r parts you will have to provide proof of purchase/ownership. Pluse the bikes aren't exactly swappable like that. The needs that arise in a street going bike are way different you know. Less wires and other crap on h2r. You'll probly be doing standard mods plus flash when available. Kawi didn't make it possible to buy a 25k bike and spend 5-10k and approach a 50k bikes performance. Sucks but it ain't goona happen.. :(
Definitely understood - was dreaming a little. I was posting to give possibly new information on extended warranty.

I suspect that the right airduct is not there on the H2 because the light would interfere with the original H2R airduct assembly. At least for the look they should have done a fake one as it look a little odd.:(
Yeah...I see what your saying.I tried looking at the frontend pics floating around. It's hard to tell if the duct screen/assembly is the same dimensions as some of the other pics.As for the headlamp area...the two models appear(to me)to be identical...but I can't tell by the pics just where they're attached behind the cowl. The pic of the H2R with the front cowl off shows the assembly attached to the ducting...it looks maybe like the screens slip onto the ducting inlets...kinda like the 14's rubber sealing duct covers.?????

And also...about the parts availability between the two models...yes...my dealer did say...you have to own that particular model your ordering for....but that 'could' change I suppose?

I like that you're an optimist re "but that 'could' change I suppose?"... but I don't think that it will likely ever happen since it would diminish the exclusivity of the H2R.

Hope springs eternal (in the human breast)... People will continue to hope even though they have evidence that things cannot possibly turn out the way they want. ;)
