Can you fellas explain to me the different colors of the H2 over the years? Some bikes seem to have more “mirror” than others. Never seen an H2 in the flesh yet, but I’m in the market for 1 and I want to know what years have more “mirror“ than others, and what years and models (H2 or Carbon) are considered the most aesthetically appealing.

From 2015-2016 the H2 uses the mirror finish.

2017-2018 introduces the H2 Carbon. It uses a matte finish.

2019 brings in the self healing paint. H2 still uses the mirror finish while the Carbon uses the matte. ‘19 also upgraded the display to a TFT and all LED lighting.

As for aesthetically pleasing- that’s just something you need to decide for yourself. It’s a matter of opinion. I personally like the matte finish, Carbon cowling, green frame, TFT, and LED’s that the 2019+ H2 Carbons have.

So the 2020 H2 also has the TFT and LEDs like the Carbon? I have a lead on a stock 2020 H2 with 1300 miles. But it’s 700 miles away. Priced reasonably. Or am I better off waiting for a Carbon to come up for sale? In all likelihood, I’ll ride it less than 500 miles per year and will likely be keeping it for collector value 20+ years from now. And for “garage porn”, Lol

The way things are going for delivery of new H2's from what others on this site have said, the 2020 H2 looks good.
1300 miles is not a lot if taken care of. Plus no waiting!

Yep. Only difference between the base and the Carbon is the matte paint and the cowling.

What H2015 said. You’d likely be waiting for well over a year for a Carbon. Might jump on this chance for one if it’s reasonable and taken care of.
