Akrapovich has released a new carbon fiber exhaust slip-on for the Ninja H2. This exhaust may not look good on all bikes, but it does look very nice on the Ninja H2.

We don't have performance figures released by Akrapovich. Auto Evolution writes:

It will be definitely interesting to see how does the 200 hp peak power of the H2 looks when breathing through this can and what ”makes the most of the Ninja H2’s power” means. As for the weight, we can expect a decent shave-off, given the carbon fiber construction.

Akrapovich says that the shape of the silencer provided the best flow during bench tests and is superior in gas flow to the existing designs.

No word yet on tech specs or price. So stay tuned.

Uk bikes getting this as standard fitment..Yippee . . .The stock unit might have put me off purchasing. It looked like something my ex wife could have spawned with an assist from Jabba The Hut.

Its a work of art in its own right....Oh and that back wheel. :)
Well...at least cleaning the stock exhaust is no longer necessary;)I don't like the shape of that Akra....straight lines would have been better IMO.I'm waiting for an aftermarket to design one that eliminates the Flow Box there....course,they'd have to do something with the Butterfly valve setup....maybe do away with that as well?Don't see why they couldn't design a pipe that'd incorporate the Valve somehow....

Was it factored into the purchase price?
They showed this off about 3 months ago.

Thought I posted it here but maybe not.

Nah, apparently storks will be flying in holding them in their beaks in little blankets. :D
I will wait for a full exhaust system that will certainly included a nicest muffler then this one. The round ending is out of place on the H2

i agree
never really liked this exhaust even from a more indepth look at it, but it's not horrible, good for someone that wants a slip on.

Speaking of exhaust, has anyone heard other manufacturers mumbling about new pipe yet?
They can't decide IF it's worth it to tool up and design it considering there are so few bikes being built.I say...the ones who DO take the challenge are gonna get rewarded with sales. It's not THAT difficult to come up with something that will work nicely. They aint dummies.Over time...I think there's gonna be a market for piping these H2's....not everyone is gonna keep the rubber on the road....not to mention the POWER wars with this bike.We know that piping is a clear way to achieve MORE from this street bike.

There aren't any of these out in the hands of exhaust guys yet..except for maybe Brock(through Ricky) and so far...Akrapovic.You KNOW Brock is interested in getting a design FIRST...full system that is.I'd be surprised if he didn't get involved with this. And a bit disappointed as well.I've got a Brock's full system single on my 14R...it's lovely;)
Yes Muzzy is going to be working on a slip on and a full system from what I heard and they will have a bike supposedly later next month for fitment.

I have sent them a E-mail asking exacly that question 1 month and a half ago and they didn't reply to me??? :|

At least you did! Thanks :)
The shape of the exhaust just isn't that appealing to me. It looks like an oddly shaped cucumber or something. It's really not the worst thing, but i have seen a lot of other better looking exhaust systems.

I know they tried to make it look kinda...alien....but it just doesn't fit...there are no 'curved' lines on the H2...not really. And having something this visible just doesn't work(for me).Straight and angular would be fine...not this.

Out of curiosity, which "Brock's full system single" specifically.

Thanks in advance!
I don't mind the factory exhaust. I think it looks rather cool actually.

This exhaust looks a little like a limp di....to me. I LOVE the materials it's made from, and I like the output end of it, just not the curve to it.

That's my opinion but opinions are like belly buttons...

One of the things I (think) I'll love about this bike is the supercharger noise. Will a louder exhaust drown this fantastic noise out?

Greg
I would rather get a full system. I usually like em loud enough so granny picks it up on her hearing aid but i think you got a point may want the exhaust note balanced with the SC whine. :)

...I think this Akro looks like a giant grasshoppers leg

The shape of the original exhaust is not to bad but just way to big for my taste as it hide half of the rear wheel.
But on the sound of the SC I agree.

A bit of kindness is required here. Its a production Item, Very high quality manufacturer, It will be light, It had to meet sound levels and the rear wheel is visible. If my ding a ling was that size and shape I wouldn't be too disappointed.
Personally I don't like to advertise I'm cumming as well.
