All i can say the R10 190/55/17 tire i hade back in 2011 on my S1000RR that tire it is super soft as **** and grips like a biatch but make sure you have a big change of $$$$$ to change that tire every 900 miles Run. Now i see that they change the compound with new R10 200/55/17 sweet.:D
Just so all of you members know, the knew r10 for the h2, it is non-directional tire, that means you can flip the tire any side you want, and balance it with no problems.

Bandit.... The tires on the H2 are the same tires on the R1M

Bridgestone r10's with 200 rear size Track rated tires.

Yamaha switched from Dunlop Qualifiers, first time.

I know all I can say I hade the R10 on my S1000rr and it was like a super glue on the pavement.

So it seems we are all in agreement then that these tires are really good. No one is disappointed and planning to switch them as soon as they get their hands on the bike?
that could be a "hard" R10. The fronts will be a medium compound as that is all Bridgestone had available for track DOT's as of the end of October. Also the rear will be a new tire as well, since as of the end of Oct. they didn't list a 200 series tire in the R10 line up. Another thing I find interesting is that Kawi recommends that you only run the VO-1's and not the newer VO-2's for the H2R's.... In the VO-2 tires, Bridgestone is only bringing out a 195 and a 200 series rear tires and recommending that a 600cc bike run a 195 tire on the rear and that all liter bikes bump up to a 200 series rear tire.....
Good information mikre7RR

Thank you
I don't see me using them after break-in. I really only trust Pirelli with my life generally.
I could be wrong but I think I remember reading this tire was specifically designed for the h2. So maybe thats why a 200 series just pops on the scene. It supposedly is meant to handle the stupid acceleration if the h2's without slipping.
Bridgestone isn't the only company making a 200 series.ANY good tire mfg with a 58W type 200 tire will work.I think this 'stock' Bridgestone is gonna be like the rest of the Stock tires...lousy mileage....

You could most likely throw a 190 on there and it'd be fine?

That's what i remember reading as well about this.
Has to be good, they already designed an amazing bike, i'm sure the tires that come with it complement it well enough.
Yeah...if they don't burn up in 2000 milesLOL!!!

You know...all that power doesn't necessarily HAVE to be used all the time....I think regular riding(if that's what a guy chooses)will make any tire on this bike last fine...maybe even moreso with this lighter frame and all.

I don't know what "regular riding" is going to be like on this bike, at least for me anyway. >:D

I'm opening a savings account for new tires starting tomorrow. >:D

Your tire budget is called KRTC...
My rear tyre is looking a bit tiered after 1.400 ks.I have purchased a set of metzler M7RR tyres which I will get fitted next week,as soon as I get a chance to scrub them in weather permitting I will give a report.
These Bridgestones ARE excellent buns.Gonna see if they have any PR4's for this bike....great mileage on those on my 14.
I'm surprised you guys are concerned with mileage.
Tire mileage?Well...I am.Want the most out of what I'm paying for.

Ended up buying the OEM tires again for mine. We'll see about any mileage gains with these 'new' factory(bridgestone)buns.See how these do.Rear's already shot at 1k...well...it has maybe a couple hundred miles still left.Front's still okay...kinda...enough anyway.Do no chicken strips on the front mean she's worn too much?

Bazzaman says.."Your tire budget is called KRTC..."...what,and take all the fun outta our bikes? No WAY!!!Besides...it aint so much my takeoffs...it's the roll-ons at 90 that're gettin meLOL!!!Combined with this killer quickshift.Wide open baby, wide open;)
