Hello all, I'm new to the forum, considering purchasing a pre-owned H2.

I currently ride a 2016 ZX-10R and when researching the H2, I found the maximum load in the owners manual stated to be 231 lbs. Is this the actual max load???

I'm about 6'3 and 215 before gear. I'm fit but not that light, lol. So I'm sort of wondering if Kawasaki is understating this number as much as the H2's horsepower (or potential horsepower, anyway)? If it's a legitimate frame limitation, because of the trellis setup, I'm going to have to look elsewhere more than likely. Which would be an absolute shame.

Very much appreciate any help members can lend.

I’ve had numerous race bikes meaning
Sports bikes modded to run streets like it was the track.
What maximum load means is maximum weight that the stock springs inside the suspension will tolerate under aggressive riding conditions before it doesn’t function as its intended.

So it will be more difficult to hold a line throw a turn or
break as good in or out a turn
Get on the power n not destabilize the bike

Basically it lowers the intended limits of what ur suspension can Withstand cuz the springs don’t support ur weight

If u don’t ride like ur on the track (aggressive) it’s not a big deal.
If u wanted to change this and fix it
It costs like 1000-1300 for parts n labor to re spring suspension front n back
