There's more than meets the eye with this casual looking high-top shoe from Alpinestars. The Alpinestars Anaheim shoe from Riders Discount is CE certified with heel and ankle protection as well as a high strength sole construction offering a similar feedback from the pegs as their high-end race boot.
Available in black, black/white, or white/black pictured here with MSRP at $169.95. Note: the white is just a touch off-white and not a pure white as some stock photos may suggest. To place an order, check them out on the website or give MIKE a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 804. Is email more convenient? Send us a message through the forum or give us a call at FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM, and we'll get back to you right away!
The sole on the Anaheim has a reinforced mid section with additional padding on the ball of your feet to prevent these from wearing out quickly.
Ergonomic MX-derived ankle and heel protection is used between the padding to provide CE certified protection.
Slip on the Anaheim shoe and it feels just like a regular skateboard style shoe thanks to performance padding. The only main difference with this is that these will actually protect you in the event of a crash whereas your DC or Nike's probably won't. Perforated tongue and side panels move plenty of air through this shoe keeping your feet cool and comfortable.
What do you think, would you wear these 'kicks' from Alpinestars? Let us know your thoughts with a post below!
