I got the Woolich Flash kit and the place and where they say to plug in the KDS is behind the seat.

On mine the KDS port is under the LH upper faring cover and it seem to be wired differently.

So anyone with a 2017-2018 Service manual, could you find in the manual where the KDS and the ABS connectors are on the 2018?
I can't find the ABS connector on mine.

I answered your PM too... but to help others that find this post in the future.

The KDS port is under the tail section.
When they assemble the bike it can be buried and not seen via the seat pad hole. Mine was on top of the frame, and not visible from the seat pad hole.

You will need to remove the tail bodywork to find it (once), you can then poke it through to the seat pad for easier access next time.

In the tail there are 2 x indicator plugs, 1 x tail light connector, 1 x black 6 pin ABS plug, 1 x WHITE KDS plug.
The last one is the one you are after.

ABS diagnostic connector is behind the seat, the lower one, page 12-30.

Manual says you can connect directly although the ABS unit does have an 18 pin connector on it.

Thanks guys,
I finally found it, wired up the Woolich and read the stock map for safe keeping. Almost got the full power map done.
@Rick150. Looks like we are in luck. I might get it loaded tomorrow. For sure I will ride it Sunday. The installation was not bad, they must have been worried that ECU would get away because it is a Royal PIA to get out. And once I found the connectors it just worked.

I went looking for the connectors and they don't seem to be where the manual says, where did you locate them?

You have to look behind the pad latch, they are tucked way up toward the point in the tail. They are covered with foam pads.

Just great, the photo in the manual shows the easy to see and get at. I noticed a photo of the clutch and it's from the 15-16 models, other clutch photo's are ok so it made me wonder for a while if they had screwed that up as well.

Actually when you know where to look they are right there. BUT they are hard to get pulled out I used a pair of duck billed pliers, once you do so they are easy.

As for the clutch, I want to look at that and compare it to the parts book.

Service manual, 6-16, we have slipper clutch with 3 springs, correct?
What we have is a slipper and assisted clutch.

That is why we only have 3 springs. This makes our clutch pull super light and as torque is applied the clutch self tightens (really clever). And as back torque is applied it self loosens to prevent wheel hop.

It does make the clutch kinda clunky and weird feeling. but it seems to work well.
