its ok, there's always next yearI need to be sick.. So mad I'm not getting this thing.. I was worried I wouldnt get to use it anywhere near to potential in my tiny state where I live but now I don't care#idroppedtheball
Son of a bitch!its ok, there's always next year![]()
OMFG!! I almost pissed myself on that on! H2...I feel your pain bud... But that sh1t is f'd hilarious! Bazza that was pretty quick witted of you! ROFLMAO!its ok, there's always next year![]()
Turtle.. I have a '13 zx10r... And I love it! In fact I'm thinking of keeping it just because it corners like no other! If I hadn't bought the h2 I would be probably looking at a yamaha R1M...the smartphone pairing option is pretty bad ass! There will be a new 10r next year, I also really like the new bmw and r1... Probly missed the boat. Honestly I didn't really care until I started talking to you guys about this thing months on end has got me wishing I was looking forward to it like you guys..:crying:
Smartphone pairing? The last thing I'd want my bike to have is access to GPS and the phone number for the police. If I hadn't bought the h2 I would be probably looking at a yamaha R1M...the smartphone pairing option is pretty bad ass!

Your not wrong there. It is expensive and there is going to be someone who needs to get out from under one its whether they live within a thousand miles from meHonestly...I don't think EVERY guy who got this H2 is gonna keep it....here in the states...you could get lucky?Depending on the 'future' of this particular machine...we'll just have to see what happens over time.

It is incredible in the twisties. That's cool you were smart and not an idiot like me and bought the bike.. I think it's a really good second bike with the 10r. Mine has about 2k on it as I got it late summer. I haven't flashed mine yet and it's face meltingly fast to me, I stopped riding for 5 years and I use to have a 05 cbr 1000rr which had low end and handled good but the 10 fcoking destroys it. I mean eats it's lunch bad that's with no flash it's crazy that that was what liter bikes were, and still are for the other brands, lol Yamaha finally stepped up though for sure.. I am so satisfied with the bike and that's probly reason número uno why I'm h2less..
That smart phone pairing will allow you to analyze your ride right? It will let you compare laps on a track or street I think.. Not sure though so don't quote me. I'm pretty sure that's how bmw is. I remeber seeing it on you tube

Correct.. You can analyze your ride... With a few modifications to the ecu and coding, the sky is the limit, the bike will be able to adjust to fuel weight, automatically adjust for corners with the gps(which is already on board, not via cell phone H2R) and it doesn't transmit receive only so no worries about the 5-0...lol)...as for the zx10r being one **** of a ride... Yeah it eats just about everything in the liter bike class for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! You won't find a better, lighter, liter bike out there! Like I said.. I'm keeping mine! I still have my '01 ninja 250(Though the engine is in pieces on my dining room table) it's a fun little bike to ride and gets great mileage... I took it on a 5 hour ride through upstate NY... Had a ball!Turtle.. I have a '13 zx10r... And I love it! In fact I'm thinking of keeping it just because it corners like no other! After hearing that fanfu%^&ingtastic sound you are more than likely right. I got my deposit down quickly and have the first bike allocated to Southern England guaranteed in writing. What you said makes perfect sense.....That video = inside of every dealership if you ain't there when your bike shows up. Every sales guy and mechanic will be calling their buddies to come sit on it and rip the throttle to hear the BOV. We should have a pool to see whose bike is going to show up on FB being abused by an employee at their dealer first.
That's not really what I have a problem with - it's the disrespect. Would I leave the key in my bike at a random parking lot and be cool with dudes just firing it up and giving it a rev at their leisure? Obviously not for the same reason I don't want dudes touching my girlfriend, my food or my car - it's not theirs. You wanna eat, get laid or drive fast? Go get your own. Keep your hands and ass the **** off my bike.Thought about this...you know...revving this bike like in those videos won't harm it a bit. It's built to rev...to run.The ONLY issue I would have is revving it immediately after starting it.Thankfully the tech at my dealer is an older guy...if anyone starts mine...he'll be the one. They can sit on it if they want...even rev it a bit...they just better not scratch it....the motor's already been redlined at the factory on the dyno...so it's not like it's never been started or revved. There's only two other mechanics there...they won't be doing anything stupid...

Theres an old saying......."Just because your paranoid doesn't mean the bas*&^tds aren't out to get you."
