Mines a 16 with 2900.

Personally,I'd find out exactly what my rights are and the correct process and start putting everything in writing to force Kawasaki to do the right thing.
Go legal.
I will if it comes to it but at the moment I need to give them a chance to fix the issue. I will keep this post up to date with any further developments.

Thanks for the imput. I would still like to hear from any 17/18 owner regarding there mileage I suspect most bike have relatively low miles, it would be nice to hear of a 17/18 bike with over 3000 miles without this issue as I suspect mileage is a factor as there is a small chance that only two bikes have this fault out of the 72 registered in the UK that includes carbon edition.

Cheers

Had the excact same issue with my 2015 H2.
Put it to the dealer and they dissambled/assembled greased the master cylinder.
Seems to be solved for now, hope it won´t return, did about 1000 miles since then without any issues!
My mileage is about 5000 miles !

Cheers for information mate. Unfortunately the Kawasaki dealer already cleaned and greased slave and master cylinder ,also ran fresh fluid through system.

I left the dealer after this work was done traveled around 10 miles and the issue depicted in the video happened again.

DAVE DO NOT BUY ONE!! seems Kawasaki and dealers dont know what issue is or have a solution as of yet....my bike has spent more time in a van going to dealership than on the road!! not saying too much on here but me and the other owner are trying to get as much information between us and so far kawasaki are yet to be all over this and getting issue resolved before it explodes onto social media from this forum and ultimatley affect sales or a huge recall.

No worries mate , thanks for posting.
I have had a look and the 18 VIN numbers and they are different to the 17 so 18 owners might be ok .

I suspect it's a specific "batch" of 2017 for the UK and European market. Unless it is just terrible luck and only two bikes out of the couple of hundred have this issue .

Could you maybe tell me more about this in a PM ?
I have a 2017 Carbon with 0 on the clock.
Just curious of your thoughts :)

I'm taking mine out on the street this summer.

That's good Ted thanks for the info. As I said above I dont think 2018 models will be affected.

Or maybe it's the altitude 😂
