It would appear that the link is to a website in France. France has a particular situation in that they have historically had a 100hp limit for motorcycles, but their motor vehicle rules are being harmonised to the rest of Europe (i.e. no hp limit) next year. My understanding is that the 2015 H2 is not available in France, so this may be a France-only situation.

Or it could be worldwide. I don't have a problem with it as long as they don't do something that kills the resale value, such as marketing it traditionally and oversupplying the market and having to blow them out at a large discount ...

2016 H2 mmmh
And if...okay but i get angry if the H2 becomes a Update like the 2015rr in comparison to the HP4

I hope Kawa stays Strong with the Limited Premium bike "H2" couse the H2r was my First choice and only the Tuning Potential of the h2 including the Street Bonus was the "buy reason" of a Cheaper but lower bike with the same base of a R.

Oh Guys i hope you understand me...

I think there will be a 2016 H2 - my understanding (based on limited info from Kawasaki) is that it will be exactly the same bike as 2015, the same low volume production, same styling/colours/power. Same (or possibly higher) price.

The message to us (as a dealer) is to take customer details if anyone expresses interest when the 2015 bikes arrive and be ready to to deals in autumn ...........

I believe you are correct based on the fact that there has not been anything released in the USA, Canada, Australia indicating that orders will be opened back up in August. I'm a very good customer of my local Kawi dealer and I was the first one they called when they received news of the H2/H2R. As I was contemplating on weather on not to order the H2 I asked specifically if the H2 would be a one time order. My dealer immediately called Kawi corporate and told them that they had an interested customer but that I was hesitant to order until I knew the bike would be a limited release model. Kawi corporate confirmed that the H2/H2R would be a limited production run model. I believe they are opening up orders for the French to give them opportunity to own this fine machine when their restrictive law is finally repealed.

Once again if they open orders for everyone worldwide the numbers sold will still be small IMHO. Exclusivity is important to me, since exclusivity means the bike will better retain it's value.

Good points indeed, but one has to wonder what the point of Kawasakis investment into not just the project but the technology, unlike most bikes the H2 isn't a conglomeration of details and attributes easily discerned from Kawasakis other serially produced bikes...(Yes there is some crossover, as is natural but I think the point is clear)...the H2 is its own 'system' if you will. I simply don't think Kawasaki is interested in tossing that 'playbook' in the bin.

I believe @Fretka was correct in thinking the H2 project is analogous to what Chevy did with the Corvette ZR1 project which then ended up birthing this generations Z06. I think we see at least another year of JUST H2 (no R) and then after that we start to see the technology trickle down. Once they can get the costs down appropriately I think we're going to see 300cc supercharged bikes starting to show up in SE Asian markets...

Then again, what do I know >:D:D

I think it would be odd to only offer the bike in France for the next model year. If they do do another production run, I think it wouldn't be limited to just one country.

Yes there has, you just refused to listen. One user specifically said ordering would reopen in July in the US and I told you over and over again I called Kawi US and they openly admitted there would be a '16. All you've ever had to do is pick up a phone and call them. Its not a secret.

When do I get an apology?

WOW. This is the farthest I've seen any of you try to bury your head in the sand to hide from the truth yet. Its so sad and desperate I initially assumed Silverbird had posted it. France only. Seriously?

I am not worried at all for a few reasons.

If there is an H2-II ...it would still be exclusive by price tag. I think we're getting something extra in the H2 for its price tag so that a similar production bike would have to cost much more for K to make money on it.

My guess is that you'll see SOME of the tech on lower end rides but you wont see the Rivermark badge. That badge says this IS a signpost to the future of powerplant evolution.

Again, more wishful thinking. Kawi hasn't made good on a single promise or implied feature yet.

If only you guys had fought back when you still had a chance...Instead you rolled over, proved you'd take what you were given and like it - and now you're getting what you all deserve; disappointment.

For myself I really dont care as I had never thought that this bike was for one year only. My deposit was give way before you told that is was a one year production only
