1st time, so still getting used to the bike.

FWIW, Have a large collection ( 100 + ) of very new to very old bikes.

Some of the newer stuff:

2015 Yam FZ 07 ( Ohlins ) , 2014: BMW HP 4 Competition, FZ 09 ( Ohlins ),

2012 Duc 1199 Panigale, 2012 Aprilia RSV 4 Tuono, 2010 Aprilia RSV 4 Factory.

Live , literally across the street from Palomar.

Took it a bit easy and didn't brake into the corners.

2nd gear all the way up, plenty of power without revving too high.

Will have You Tube Video up in a day or 2.

Back Tire run at 32 to 36 Lbs. Higher pressure with heat and altitude

going from 2800 to 5500 Ft Alt.

Tires seem adequate, for now.

Both front and rear have just a slight 1/4 inch strip where some contact,

but no tire boogers.

Bike has home made pegs , dropped 1 inch from stock.

Made leg comfort much better and haven't dragged, yet.

The bottom tips are about the level of the OEM Kaw peg feelers.

They were originally from a 2010 BMW S 1000RR I had.

They are also about 1/2 inch longer than the OEM Kaw pegs.

Knurled finish has better grip.

These tyre's are great, nice and sticky.
Only downside is they won't last long.
How does she compare with the 100+ (I'm sick already, covered in drool) bikes you have.
1st impressions?

Bike already delivered with 28.5 mm sag on the forks, street clothes and I

weigh 230 , then, or almost 250 with full skins and helmet.

As suited, would be about 230 mm sag, which is exactly where I would set it.

Rebound and compression I cranked out all the way, then went back half way

to where it was set as delivered.

Original settings where good, but softer setting better for bumpy, and slower

pace as compared to a full on track.

All the controls such as KTRC, etc, set on # 1.

Well I guess it would bad beat my 1936 Harley Knucklehead. :D

The newer bike are all quite a bit lighter, ranging from 385 to 450 with full

tanks of gas.

Till I'm more used to the bike, I won't hard brake the corners as much.

Winter Garage Warmup: ( electric start bikes, only, except for the Y2k Jet Bike )

On acceleration seems it would leave most of them.

Will try a lightweight run against the HP 4 after I have more miles on it.

Currently at 190 miles at present.

Camera chase bike was a Yamaha FZ 09 with Ohlins front and rear.

Had to use quicker bike to stay with H 2 on shake down run.

Former camera bike was a Ducati 1100 Hypermoto.

Video , below of FZ 09 over a year ago when it was bone stock:

1st You Tube video.

I cut out the 1st 2 minutes where H 2 was not yet visible.

Have since edited You Tube but if not done yet, start at 2 minutes

and set quality to 1080 HD.

Quality can be set by clicking on the gear symbol at bottom and

it will show a list of quality sizes. Click 1080, then the full screen symbol.

Nice riding there Mr. C, good to see the H2 is being utilized for what it was made for.

Man, I can't wait to pick mine up from the dealer and start putting some miles on it. Was supposed to that this Friday and I now have to be in Houston this weekend so I won't be able to pick up the H2 Until next Tuesday :crying:

There was actually a Yamaha FZ 09 ride that stopped at the ranch.

I followed and got video of the ride up the Tight Side of Palomar.

Used a FZ 07, which also has full Ohlins , light wheels, like my FZ 09.

Started from the back of the pack , getting short video of each before

passing to get the next up, till finally catching and passing the ride leader.

You Tub Video.:
