Would that same data port - a read port?, also be a write port to the ECU? Just hoping that I don't have to take a chisel to the security bolts on the European ECU to remove it. (As per the official Kawasaki Service Manual!) If it is a write port, would you guys who offer tuning and mapping be agreeable to sending maps by email? is that feasible? I am in the UK.
Thanks!
I have to say I don't think there's anyway of doing that without taking the ECU out and sending it to Don. He looked at my bike which was his first H2 he had got his hands on and wanted to see if it would be possible to flash the ECU through the the diagnostic port and after looking at the wiring it was a no go.

Not a very good translation... Thanks for your feedback.

There are some minor changes.

Assist & slipper clutch is adopted.
Operation of the clutch will be 40% lighter. (Slipper clutch itself is from the 2015 model)
2015 models also have a back torque limiter, but in principle it was mono different from the so-called slipper clutch.
The material of the clutch hub and seems to have 1kg lighter change from iron to aluminum.
-Setting change and rain-mode power delivery of the ECU has been more smoothly change.
(2015 model is the rain mode hard ride honest)
CAN (Controller Area Network) support.
You can now connect to a third-party data logger. ">

I was hoping it would be a read/write interface.

The rev limit of the H2 is ~13000 RPM. The H2R is ~14000 RPM. With centrifugal superchargers, the boost rises with engine speed, so the H2R already has a boost advantage with the extra RPMs. Guhl motors posted this back in 2015 on this forum when he was working to come up with a flash for the h2. 13,000 is stock rev limit on a 15
