New tires

Hey guys I was looking at shinko's Raven tires. They only come in a 200/50 will that be a problem I have been told there will be no problem other than i might lose some top end speed and might be like a 1/4 lower possibly. what can you all say?

Don't put garbage tires on a bike like this.

When someone wins a national-level roadracing championship on Shinko tires, I will consider changing my opinion of them.

Ok i got 1,500 ks from the original rear tyre it made it to 2 000ks but was far from roadworthty.Metzler 7RR has done 3,500 on the rear and could probably get another 500 ks out of it.So in reality i got double from the metzlers and the bike had been run in by then so it was riden harder than the first tyres.Handling is good and wet/damp roads are no problem as well as dry roads. The front metzler is also just about done so if you work on 3500 to 4000 ks a set when the bikes ridden properly,it only does mountain and twisty roads so if a mix of riding was done im sure you would see much better wear. Shinkos on this bike might as well just tip your bike on its side now and save yourself some pain.

Why is everyone hating on the shinkos? I mean im sure there name proven brands but experience do you have to back up your claim against the shinkos?
