I've read that Kawasaki is planning to launch a new ZX-10R near the beginning of next year. It's supposed to be based on the H2, just wondering if anyone has heard anything about it.

I'm just curious if Kawasaki is going to come out with a Scrambler style bike of some kind. BMW and Ducati are doing it, so why not?

nah the presser says its building on the current 10R's architecture, just adding a few trick bits to suspension and braking. Also looks like its probably getting the H2 electronics or something similar...

It's they're building on the current 10R's architecture, maybe they'll have a bit of extra time to come out with a Scrambler. Kawasaki is lacking in that department.

It seems to me that when one manufacturer finds success with a certain type of bike, the rest will follow suit. I bet Kawasaki will make a Scrambler, and I bet other brands will be coming out with superbikes alla the Ninja H2 in the no too distant future.
