2017 Limited Edition Ninja H2 Carbon

Quote:
The existing highly acclaimed Supercharged Ninja H2 and Ninja H2R machines are now joined by a third even more exclusive model in 2017, the Ninja H2 Carbon.

Limited to just 120 available worldwide in 2017, the Carbon model of the Ninja H2, as its name suggests, features a Carbon Fibre upper cowling as well as other features that mark it out as special – even in this illustrious company.

Resplendent in a new paint scheme that is just as eye catching yet different to the two existing Ninja models, the Ninja H2 Carbon also has a new take on the famous Kawasaki “river mark” emblem on the front of the cowling as well as the adoption of an IMU offering six levels of machine attitude measurement.

Using the IMU at its core the range of electronic rider aids is impressive with Kawasaki’s cornering management function as part of a suite that also includes traction control, launch control, intelligent anti-lock brakes and even a bank angle readout as part of the meter display.

Equipped with its stunning trellis style frame, handling and braking are dealt with by top quality components on the Ninja H2 Carbon with KYB AOS-2 front forks plus Brembo M50 calipers and braking package while, at the rear, a top spec Ohlins TTX shock absorber with remote adjustment ensures perfect handling.

Euro4 compliant and available with an accessory Akrapovic carbon fibre bodied silencer, Ninja H2 Carbon accessories also include a Kawasaki Ergo-Fit reduced angle handlebar kit and different size handlebar weights.

Sure to be popular not just for its rarity value but also for its awesome performance, the old saying was never more pertinent for the Ninja H2 Carbon, “be quick or it will be gone!”…

Yep, I purchased one. Have a look in the Gallery and you will see the carbon fibre. Suspension was set up for me before I took possession of the H2C and its great, no further adjustment needed. The paint job is strange as it changes with lighting conditions, one minute it looks black, the next it's grey then it can look like the other half's diamond ring, all sparkly. The green frame took me a day or so to get used to but it really suits the bike, glad it's green now. They comment on the IMU which is very good but when your sphincter muscles are in action the display is the last thing you want to look at. As for the Euro4 compliant exhaust, I think it's great and do you know why? For years I had loud bike and took no notice of the load machinery around me, now I have tinnitus which is a cost too much to pay. If I wanted everybody to notice how cool I am I would have purchased a noisy Harly! So, I say grab one if you can, in fact grab any H2, you won't be disappointed.
H2Lou and D.Kinsey like this.

Looking at some of the advertising for the 2019 Carbon they are still going on about only 120 to be made. From the number of Carbons turning up I think there will actually be 120 built for the entire production life of the H2.

This is possibly the reason why no numbered badge in the 2018. KHI probably did't sell as many in 2017 as they thought and you cant put a numbered 2017 badge on a 18-19 model. So few 17's went to the UK & USA so where did the rest go, I got the only one in New Zealand and Australia only has a few so that doesn't even bring the number sold to 20, so there is about 100 missing. If you own a Carbon then it probably will be unique. The production number on mine is #266 and as a Carbon #78 , so anybody have more info on H2 production numbers by year?

I know there is 3, 2017 carbons in my country. With 5 million citizens in total for the country.
I got one of them.

So I don't think 120 is unrealistic.
I think Germany got a lot of them.
And around 40-50 in total for Europe (only a guess)
There are also a lot in Japan.
