OP I could not agree more about Suzuki not making a bike better than the K5/K6 since -- beyond the S1000rr, I don't think anyone else has for that matter either. They're all heavy and loaded with unnecessary electronic bits.
I seriously wonder how many of the people talking in this thread are 17 year olds. I find it hard to believe so many people in here are buying ZR1s and GTRs and $100k+ cars. Get out of here with that nonsense. It just reeks of bullshit and ego.
There is no way the street version of the H2 will sell any sort of volume if it's approaching $30k. Supercharger or not, people will not pay that unless they are hardcore Kawasaki fans or have more money than sense. As someone else pointed out already, once you start getting upwards of $30k, a turbo'd liter bike becomes a way better choice. An installed/tuned RCC turbo kit for my K5 runs about $7k, which makes 350hp all day. You could buy a brand new Hayabusa or ZX-14 and slap a turbo on it for less than $30k.
My most sincere hope is that they'll price this sub $20k, within the realm of reasonable. Realistically I would not pay more than that. It's not a matter of "can I afford it", it's a matter of "is it worth it", as others have pointed out. I am definitely intrigued, though. Looking forward to pricing and availability.
