I'm back home ,surgery went v well. I even dared to dream of pikes peek while waiting for lift back from hospital. I had hoped to get a sub 10 standing quarter on a stock H2 before my "off fence". Having not been able to break this mark on a near 200bhp zx12r . Huge respect to all riders of modified bikes ,If Bill had headed up NASA we clearly would have day trips to Mars.

So glad to hear you are recovering now. We were all rooting for you buddy. Also glad you aren't letting it deter you from motorcycles.

Cheers!

Props to the Hayabusa, but your talking about two different worlds. It's like comparing a Porsche 911 turbo, to a Top fuel dragster. The Busa is a straight line dragbike and the H2R is a highly refined, café racer. 340mph. top speed, to a 220mph top speed.

Both are amazing machines...

"straight line dragbike"..LOL.I just somehow can't see this Busa as going down the dragstrip at anything near a 'dragger's" times. They'd prolly run at lest two runs before he hit the traps

This is a turbocharged Hayabusa and it is attempting to to hit the 300 mph mark. To note, the H2R hasn't broken the 220 mph mark yet.

Dyno runs have measured the bike at 566hp, "but Steve guesses the bike is actually in the 700-800 hp range."

I See Your Kawasaki H2R And Raise You A Turbo 'Busa
Remember Bill Warner ran 311mph. It will take a big man to fill his shoes.
