2017 carbons

Where did all the 2017 Carbons go? Don't see many owners here. In fact how many H2's by year were ever sold? Anybody have the stats?

I was told that they only imported 6 H2s into North America for 2108. I don't know if that included Carbons.

There was only 6 to the UK, that leaves quite a few for Asia but there doesn't seem to be many members here with Carbons of any year.
As for the standard H2 there seems to be little information on production numbers or where they were shipped to.
If KHI don't do a 2019 production run then the value of the H2 will rise. Anybody asked a dealer why 2019 H2 is not being advertised?

July's a bit early in the year to be tempting people with a 2019 model. Especially if there's an unsold stock of 2018 models.

I think it was all about being able to introduce SC motorcycles to the public and show they were dependable. Now that the SX is out, they probably won't need to keep the H2 line going. Which is okay by me. Although no one here has an H2 so it is not like they are all over and we have the same bike as thousands of others.

I think 6 H2 Carbons came to the UK for 2017. One was stolen and I'm not sure if it was ever found. We sold one locally and the owner is very happy with it and has turned down several offers to buy it off him !

Your probably right Ted, the H2 is probably expensive for KHI to make and not many people have the $. The SX is more of a marketable bike and fly's the performance KHI flag to a bigger group even-though the only thing in common about the engine is it has a SC which is also different. I would like to buy an SX but I wouldn't sell my H2. Both would be good to have as they do different things.

Back to the original question, where did all the H2's go?

Another thing, it would be great if KHI made it's track only flash available, I'm sure they have one used during the bikes development. In-fact if they made the factory flash available it would be a positive marketing move rather than having owners publishing all the issues with aftermarket flashes. Those comments to some take that edge off the bike.

What would be even better is a race mode. Give me the code for the ECU and we would have a race mode in days. Not to mention a way to change things without hooking up anything.

KHI are probably so scared of EU regulations that even though R&D have it the management don't have the foresight or courage to make it available.
