A bit about my self, first of all so nice to be a member of this group of H2 riders

My name is Josef and one of 11 owner of the 2015 green monster I Sweden.

Just got some Carbon from Tekarbon front and back added and front and rear Öhlins dampers installed by my self. Man it's a lot of work :D :D :D

Wanted to share some pictures of the beast.

Have more plans ahead just bought from my Scandinavian friend from Iceland a TT3 racing exhaust from him here at the forum, Kamikaze

https://www.dropbox.com/s/9y4h9t1szbz4dt1/TT3_4.jpg?dl=0

Next inline is to buy the FTecu tuning kit with the active tune and have installed on the bike so I can tune it depending on weather climat.
And big help from Mike at Veloxracing in UK that has convinced me to buy this kit and I will on my own be able to flash the ecu and tune the bike while I am riding it. But of course I will take to a professional on a dyno to see the gain we get as a lot dynos read diffent.

Stay tuned and ride like you stole it

Regards

Josef

Hey welcome man! Looks great! I'm thinking of adding the Ohiins to mine this winter...... How do you like them? Did you ride her with the stock stuff for a while first?

#3 ·
Hi,

Yes I have been riding the stock ones for a while and was not impressed plus I am not a small guy, my weight is 122 kilo (bodybuilding

But its a completely new bike so level and such a nice ride. Imagine riding a bmw standards car and then jump into a Porsche GT3 clubsport with perfect suspension :D

Josef

G'day Josef,

Not sure if it may affect you during tuning with the FTecu tuning kit you have as I don't know a lot about them, but I have a TT3 full system and had it tuned with Woolich system. The tuner could not utilise the existing O2 sensor port supplied on the TT3 pipe as it sticks vertically up and the Woolich tuning plug/connection would not fit as it fouled up under the engine. I had to get another port welded at an angle facing toward the left side of the pipe so it cannot be seen easily when looking at the bike. This port was simply capped off after use. I contacted TT3 to let them know of this so maybe they can address the O2 port position if they want.

Anyway good luck with the bike!

Don.

@ Somefun:This aint about Carbon or Ohlins...but I bought a 2016 ECU and PCV from Brocks.Stage 2 deal.I HOPE this 2016 works okay with my 2015 bike...yikes!That 2016 has the lean angle deal.Wouldn't THAT be nice if THAT magically appeared in the menu.Nope...I don't have the sensors..oh well....

So I just wanted to vent for a minute one of my gripes about some threads, including this one.
In this case the OP dangled a carrot in front of us to say "look what I installed" but ignored all questions posted by members.
This thread is nearly a month old now so I've waited a reasonable time before griping.
Another recent one was that controversial top-speed thread where the OP refused to answer any questions about what he had done to his bike, not even gearing..
That is not what this forum is about.
End of rant.

In all honesty,ANYONE has a right to NOT answer any questions. So a guy wants to keep stuff to himself. He's allowed.Nothing wrong with that.Expectations of others is a dead end street. There's always other avenues of finding out what helps our bikes to perform.Perhaps if some hadn't put him on trial,he may have opened up about his bike? And I'm guilty of starting it off by questioning the validity of the video. The video was valid. The run was valid.

I disagree. And I wasn't one of the people that said that guy's video wasn't real, I said he had no credibility because he covered up his gauges and refused to answer questions about what he had done to his bike. This is a forum where we help each other, with both problems and mods. This is what separates a forum member from an internet troll.

Hi guys,

Sorry for the late update but trying to get all businesses together I do own a bar together with my parents and also a big Gym 1500m2 together with 2 friends and also I do work as a contracted Database developer also.

Latest update is fairing as taken apart and making sure everything is not scratched and still in good condition.

I am doing it all on my own.

Just removed the harness for the pcv 5 so its for sale with a map installed on it for the Akrapovic carbon slipon if anybody is interested or know someone.
I will add it on the sale section.

Next up is draining out the water removing the Radiator and from there removing the stock exhaust.

After that I will start with getting the ecu out of its cage to start mounting the FTecu harness that will be installed on it. Didn't want to buy the bench version :D

So short update and sorry if this takes time but believe me I want it do be done now!

Best regards

Josef Nalci

Another question for you guys: What tires do you still run on your H2? still going for the RS10 or is anybody using any other brands?

good to see keeping us updated on your build, forum member will appreciate that. There is an unanswered question above that members would also like to have you answer; what model Ohlins forks tubes/internals did you install and what was the cost? thanks.

To answer your question above, I found the RS10s fantastic for grip & performance but I would go through the rear tire in 500 miles. I recommend the Dunlop GPA Pros, they are basically a racing slick with a tread pattern to make street legal. I have gone through many sets of the GPA pros and they are great.

Hi all,

Some update here in my project.

Did strip down the last on the parts that was needed and did get into some showstopper.

The wideband O2 sensor that is supplied from FtECU is not as small as the oem.
The welded hole on the exhaust is to small so that needs to be plugged and a new hole with the right size needs to be welded.

Here is some pictures.
