It is kind of the same with ECUs (and most electronics). They work great until you let out the Magic Smoke.

I always wondered how exactly it worked. Now it makes so much sense. Thanks for posting this.

Since I'm not mechanically minded really anyway, this explanation is about as good as a real one. I stick to the more elementary repair tasks.

Haha! Actually, I think the H2 is now suck, squeeze, blow, squeeze, bang, blow!

The upside? You get more sucking, blowing and squeezing before you go bang!

That car's using a Roots supercharger, the H2 is a centrifugal type.
