😂 at first I thought the old display looked more well suited for the style of the h2
Cuz this display looks like it belongs on the h2 sx se.
But it’s so clear in the info that I’m glad they put it on.
Only thing is the shift light in the day if ur paying attention to road u can’t see it lol

That is what I had heard from the dealer. I didn't want to say anything in case they were wrong. Just wondering. Are you happy with it?

Looking at the two displays, I like the functionality of the new display better, but I like the look of the old better, don't need the pretty colors, I just want the see the info. But given a choice, I would have to go with functionality first. I'm not sure if the phone app would be useful except to pass some time when I get bored.

I am also wondering if the display data comes in on the CAN bus? Or if it is some proprietary protocol. I guess either way it probably be the same amount of work to decode. BUT after decoding it would be simple enough to either build a supplemental display or just use a Android device to display the info. Maybe a good side project. I may just put in a diagnostic type plug inline so I can hook an oscilloscope (which I have) to it and capture the info. Then build a decoder and maybe bluetooth it out.

Yea exactly
The old display looks more h2 like
But the functionality of the new display is too good
Haven’t tried the Bluetooth
But as weather gets better I will use it

If I build it, I will find a way to get it to all of us who want one for what is costs me to build it. The good part is I am an electronic engineer and software engineer. And if I have to build a circuit board, my wife is probably the very best circuit board designer in the country. I $hit you not. Her stuff is artwork, here is a raw un-stuffed board where I designed the electronics and she laid out the board. We have the technology, finding the time is the issue.
