Myself and another member on here both own 2017 h2's and both have identical gearbox faults. My bike had 4100 when this fault developed the other owner had 3000 on his. It seems to be a manufacturing fault on input shaft but Kawasaki are not 100%. (More info on other post)
I would like to here from any other 2017/18 owners who are near or over 3000 miles as I believe this could end up a recall.
Image shows an example of a burr at the end of the internal diameter of a piece of steel pipe. The internal diameter of the input shaft I suspect has a similar defect, I'm pretty sure it isnt at the end if the internal bore of the shaft though and more likely a small distant along the inside.
