28,000 ks on a 2015 no problems like that ,that sounds really crap .I had no problems with Kawasaki warranty in Australia and I had a couple of major problems all fixed with a minimum of fuss.

Hi mate thanks for the information, sorry to here you had some major issues with your bike but at least you had decent service in having the problem rectified. Cant say the same for Kawasaki UK.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update on my situation. Dealer has installed new input shaft and shift rod, they have test rode the bike and all seems good. They are going to install a new slave cylinder as they found some wear when the old one was inspected.

Will update more when I have test rode the bike myself and when new slave is fitted. The other owner on here with the same issue has told me that the new slave cylinder is an updated part with two seals instead of one like the original.

Thanks again for everyone's input.

15000kms on 2015 no problems on gear box, only issue was the nut of the rear axle having play, just press it with the impact wrench at 500Nm (but on the air, no lock) and problem solved hehehe

Looks your problema is on 2017 versions.

Well after having a new input shaft, shift rod and new slave cylinder installed the exact same problem is back.

I have done 3500 miles since parts were installed and I'm back at square one!

I have absolutely no idea to be honest with you. I'm just back from an hours ride on the thing and all seems fine. The problem was intermittent the last time aswell so I suppose I will keep riding it until it happens again then take it from there.

It looks like you boys in Australia and the boys in the US wont be affected by this issue. As I said previously it looks like a European issue or myself and the other owner are really unlucky and have purchased the two very same models of h2 with the very same problem out of the whole worlds 2017 models ! 😂
I had a tiny clip on my 2015's cam chain tentioner installed backwards from the factory... Threw the rods and blew head gasket at 2-3000 miles. Im not the original owner nor is it under warranty but kawasaki rebuilt the motor under love coverage for free, like 6500$. So I always wonder if im the only 2015 that someone put a clip in backwards at the factory or if theres others out there. And kawasaki really really took care of me and im 3rd owner lol.
