I'd call Don Guhl or Brock. I haven't seen or heard much about flashing the 2017 or 18 models but if my information is correct I believe Guhl gives the most options for a flash? I've spoken with Don on the phone twice and he's not pushing anything besides customer satisfaction. I find him to be open/honest and its obvious he knows his craft.

Im positive that Brock wouldn't use his flash if he didn't trust Don's work!

With Don's flash you wont have to piggy back anything if you just want to disable restrictions your H2?

Well the good part is it seems the 2017 and 2018 ECUs have the exact same part numbers.

TedG My story is kind of the opposite of yours. Bought a 2016 Canadian model. Not a fan of wheelies and have a few other bikes that I feel are better suited to that. I had the 2017 electronics (including the ecu and imu, etc) fitted to the bike as I wanted the wheelie control introduced in 2017 among other changes that year. I had the front lowered 10mm also. I had Don Guhl flash it and went to a sprint street air filter, stage 2 SC gears I got from Don and the extreme creations intercooler, and Brock's stand. Currently running 19/41 gearing. My desire is to have the quickest acceleration possible with the front wheel staying down and not stretching the wheelbase. Absolutely love it. I tend to think it is the wheelie control that is hampering you.

Clearly earlier models 15 and 16 wheelie. There must be quite a few other 2017 and 2018 owners in this forum. I haven't seen a consensus from them whether they can wheelie easily or not. If not then it's the new electronic package. If they can then your issue is either altitude or something with your bike. Would be nice to know how the 17-18 models do or don't as a starting point...

Hope you find your wheelie fix...

Completely agree with the above, lots of R&D gone into the Guhl / Brock combination, after sale service is excellent, itís a no brainer for US based owners.

Ted,

The boost is pretty linear:

... But the "Before/After" absolute Boost numbers should be a topic of discussion for a while

One would think that there would be more boost at the lower RPMs with a stage 2. That is assuming Stage 2 is re-gearing the SC.

If not then the high RPMs don't make sense. That is of course if the BOV is the same.

Brock doesnít offer the re gearing of the SC Ted, plenty of info on his site with their opinion / Advice for this mod.
I have his stage 2 (UK based) & mine is doing 250.4 DIN @ Just under 14k so his quoted SAE figures are solid.
If youíre considering a flash then I would look no further

If there is no SC gear change. Boost is measured in the air box. And if the butterflies are open more than stock, why is the pressure backing up? Cam's?
