I've tried the 2CT on my Speed Triple in the past and found them myself to be a meh tyre. No bad and no great just good.

I like to try different tyres, and never had Pirelli before. It was either the Rosso 3 or Supercorsa but wanted something to lasst more than 1k and heard very good things about the 3's so gave them a punt.

I'll report back how I find the tyres over the summer, hoping on track as well as fast road.

Oh ok. You sure they were the 2CT? They are a high performance tyre never heard anyone give them a mediocre review. A lot people confuse the Pilot Road 2s for the 2CT (full name Pilot Power 2CT) hence the confusion but are chalk and cheese in comparison. I must say all my experience with them were from high performance heavy 1000cc bikes and I know they are very suited to the weighty machines maybe that might explain the average rating....
Anyway all good be interested what you think about the Pirellis in due time...
Take it easy mate...

Defiantly 2CT's and maybe just not suited to my riding or the Speed triple.

I have been thru a few sets of Supercorsa's before and they are wonderful tires. They really stick well and last way longer than the RS10's. Way longer. Of course its 1.5 times the cost, there is the drawback on the initial investment.

They are OEM for Ducati Superbikes. They wouldnt put just poo poo tires on that machine.

The Supercorsas SP's are OEM on the BMW S1000RR at least they were on my cousins 2015.

RS10's on the R1/M.

Lost track of how many sets of the RS10's I've replaced. Have another new set at the dealership waiting for me right now too but thinking of trying the Supercorsas instead, don't know if he can return the the RS10's though, had him pull them into stock couple of months ago & weather turned maybe I'll just sell them on eBay. Or just wait till next time, w/ the RS10's that won't take long.

Came across this yesterday, interesting sets of tires for the new Blade SP:

They are not a high standard sports tyre like some other Michelins on the market. What sort mileage have you or got from them?
I had some Pilot 4GTs on my last Busa and were excellent for that application.

I agree with everything you said about the Michelin's. The PP 2CT have a great profile for carving on the road and stuck like flypaper on my ZX14. I got the PP3's though on H2 cause they are a more rigid carcass and supposed to hold up to H2 better and I think they do. The wear on them is as I expected and do see the center flattening but haven't been riding that much with many other things going on. ...One is tearing up the dirt in my new Yamaha YXZ 1000R SS
